phxpoke
I like the hire. I think he can rejuvenate fan interest. It will be nice to see the dome of doom packed again. 1

quickdraw
Good Wyoming guy and looks like a conservative hire to get this new era of NCAA ball figured out.
WYO1016
Underrated hire. It's not a coincidence the team fell apart after he went to Green Bay.
B_Lootz
Great hire. Green Bay was one of the worst teams in the country prior to Wicks’ arrival, finishing 361 out of 363 teams in the NET and last place in the Horizon. In one season, Wicks led them to a 3rd place finish and jumped into the upper 200’s of the NET, even after losing 5 of their last 6. A WYO guy, he obviously knows what it takes to be successful there.
Wyobraska
Love the hire. Linder leaving now is a blessing since it didn't seem like he could get the team back on track. I had such high hopes for Linder at one point.

Headbutt
Good hire. Can coach, get's (and embraces) the culture. He'll get a pass this year just due to the tiny recruiting window, but it'll be interesting to see what he does going forward. Somebody on Ramnation asked if he had an asst. HC named Butch. Kinda' silly, but I like it.

soupslam1
A guy named Sundance coaching at Wyoming. Couldn’t be more perfect. Seriously, he sounds like a great hire.

I've seen this sentiment from reactions around the country seeing this as some great/funny random coincidence. But, he was born in Wyoming 60 miles from the town of Sundance, where the Kid got his name. SO I am almost certain he was named after the Outlaw/town. Grew to be a huge Wyoming fan and became a coach and eventually made his way home to coach UW. It is an awesome name(My hometown is Sundance) but it issn't really a crazy coincidence to have a sundance being a cowboy coach. The reason his name is sundance is the same reason he's now Wyomings coach. Pretty pumped for him.

We stop at the Conoco station off 1-90 there for gas every time when driving to my in-laws in Rapid City. Never been in town proper but it looks nice from the road. I imagine it's similar to Saratoga, Lusk and Guernsey, places I've driven through regularly.
Super six
Following Fresno State's example, Wyoming has hired a coach with roots to ensure long-term success and fan engagement.
Rosegreen
Sundance can probably get the buy in from players and community. Linder’s leadership fell apart for some reason. Did Wyoming get a buyout from Texas Tech?

I would rank it above Lusk and Guernsey but Saratoga is nicer in my biased uninformed random ranking.
