Mr.Green Jeans is by far one of the most hilariously awful pieces of literature I've ever read. Not only does it fail at making any memorable characters or plot, it fails at interesting anyone that doesn't personally know the author, or doesn't immediately love anything with a positive message about helping the Earth. Everything written in this book is either completely made up (landmarks, locations, even false billboards made to make his message seem stronger), or struggles to have any value to progress the plot. With horrible writing and the most brain dead husband and wife duo you can imagine, Mr.Green Jeans is definitely not something I'd recommend unless you're a tree hugger, or someone just masochistic enough to sit down and read this god-awful trash. Except they're not except by some Lutherans, and even then its more about catholic (little c) than Catholic (big C). Roman Catholics have their own Evangelicals. My dad was Lutheran. My sister is Lutheran. I went to my uncle's and (later) aunt's funeral in Denver. The lesbian Lutheran pastor gave great eulogies. I'm familiar. Luther himself was a bit unique. Scrupulosity is tough condition. My favorite anecdote, true or not, is that of a Luther confessor who once told him, "Martin, you don't have to confess every fart!" Anyway, the liturgy of Lutheran churches (like Episcopal) basically follow the ancient structure.

Well, then God is certainly a homophobe with that logic because the holy spirit guided all mortal men that contributed to the Bible. And so many people have the concept of judgment wrong in the Bible. A few verses get cherry picked, and they’re out of context. If you read everything in the Bible about judgment, you should conclude something relatively close to this. 1. Do not judge people about going to heaven or hell, especially people you don’t know. 2. For those in your family, close friends, potential spouses and members of your church congregation, judgment on integrity and ethics is essential and must be done. Surrounding yourself with quality people is very important. 3. Do not judge others unless you have your own act together. The hypocrisy of judgment is emphasized in the Bible. 4. Jesus, the Son of God, and God our Father will ultimately judge all of us. Paul wrote against homosexuality and called it a sin. That point is a statement of fact. I did not add any judgement about that fact. I did provide some potential context for his writings. I would agree with your points on judgement.
