Those rare cases can be determined on a per case basis by the sports governing body.

so are trans athletes--which is slightly more common, but not that much so. (Many times it's a crossover)

In any case, your fandom is your fandom, just curious.

Apples and oranges. Trans is not a genetic abnormality.

This is 26,604 fans?  #FresnopullingaMiami

Imagine if she starts dominating and “media” orgs like this: https://x.com/reduxxmag?s=21&t=aUrk07WoJidZAhwwldQqag

…start making baseless accusations on twitter that go viral about your daughter being trans. Then people start posting her instagram. Then people start talking about her jaw line. Calling her a dude among girls. A cheater.

Should we give your daughter the benefit of the doubt? Or guilty until proven innocent? Reddux report is good enough evidence?

This is a very simple issue to resolve. Trump won’t be able to help because even he is smart enough not to “Grab a minor by the........”.  But Biden could be very helpful and have no problem sniffing the young girls hair. He has so much olfactory experience in this area, he could easily be able to tell if it’s a girl shampoo/conditioner or not.

I play rec league tennis.  I would be an upper end 4.0 woman if I decided to be one.  If I play women who are 3.5s, I beat them easily, even if I think they’re good.

You definitely strike me as a tennis guy…

Honestly yes.  You are part of the problem.  She's +++++ing 13 years old.  The point of sports at this age and at this level is not about winning at all costs, it's about life lessons, making connections, learning a good work ethic.   In the big scheme of life, who cares if she wins a medal at 13 or 14 or 15 years old?  If her times are good enough for a scholarship it's good enough for a scholarship.  The lessons she learns from swimming will be more important than how many medals she won.(And for many of us the lesson is that life isn't fair or you can try your 100% hardest and still not win)

Volleyball was my sport growing up, in Hawaii I'd go to pick up and play with a lot of trans athletes.  I don't know why they gravitated to volleyball there, but they did.  In either case, I can assure I've never met one who transitioned (or were transitioning) to get a competitive advantage in sports.  They transitioned to stay alive.  At the very least, please stop questioning their motives and actually talk to a few of them.  Sports was one of my outlets in life when things all around me were shit, and if someone else has the same outlet I think it's not important to take it away from them.

Now is it fair?  I'm aware of the data of pre and post transitioned athletes and don't want to explain it to someone that doesn't make up their mind.  But even in volleyball, you can't deny that a trans athlete is gonna be taller per-capita than a non-transitioned athlete.  There absolutely is some sort of biological advantage in many sports, even if it's miniscule.  And at *some* point, we *are* all going to be limited by our physical attributes in our chosen sport.  So yes, I think at some point it should absolutely come into play.  It should absolutely not come into play as a kid, where we preach inclusivity, and even in the NCAA, which I'd argue is against their core mission.  If they want to stop her from playing professionally or during higher stakes, they are welcome to. (Also adult rec leagues)

You’re weird.

You're the one who keeps bringing it up, are you sure you're not the one with the fetish?  FYI, Only 4-13% of trans folks have bottom surgery--fewer in the athletic community, I'd say it's unlikely that anyone so young has had it.

Hey, Women Adding Cocks_FAN, you’re the one that’s kind of creepy on this issue.

It's not an issue thats's going away quickly, but the movement of world sport bodies is in the direction of strong restrictions on m-to-f transgender competition. Athletics and swimming have the criteria of not experiencing male puberty after Tanner Stage 2.  Continual testosterone limits are in place.  Combined with the movement towards standards of care in Western nations to limit medical interventions to extreme and rare cases (children and youth).  This is going to limit the numbers in many sports to 0+ not much.  The recent NHS England Cass Review has already had some impact as have changes in other Euro standards of care for medical gender issues.  For the most part, logic and science will take care of the broad issue for world sport.  The NCAA is moving to follow the sport by sport rules of various world bodies.

The issue probably remains for youth sports in states where legislation hasn't been enacted. We can deal with it logically and scientifically.  The numbers are tiny.

As for Fleming at SJSU, she may be approved by FIVB (world volleyball) to play as a female.  I don't know.  Her bio sounds like the transition may have been early enough?  FIVB has a bit more "flexible" criteria than Athletics/Swimming so that factors in.  If she's okay for FIVB, I would expect the NCAA to allow her to compete (if eligibility left) after August '24 when the new rules are implemented.

Back to the OP...

Just read the article, and presents no actual evidence.  Built mainly around claims of one anonymous opposition parent.  Like a lot of conspiracy theories it creates a conclusion then works backwards to find anything that might fit the narrative.

It gives me a headache just trying to think down to your level

Why do you say that?

Also, it doesn’t matter what sport.  Men have biological advantages.

Most guys that I know who play it are duds.

As an alumni, this is very embarrassing. Were letting dudes play on the women’s team SMH.

This almost tops having our stupid school promo commercial that ran for almost three years that showed someone putting their CoViD mask on lol

I got crap for it every time I watched a San Jose State game at the bar with my buddies….we live in Texas lol

Our daughters sports are not a plan B for failed male athletes.  If you have outdoor plumbing, then stay the freak away from indoor plumbing players and sports. Period!!  What about the females that can't play because a spot was taken by someone with a XY chromosome????

Does this mean that the NCAA will require blood tests for all athletes, to prove their true sex before competing in NCAA sanctioned sports?

Why complicate things?  If you had to turn your head and cough for your required physical then that should suffice.
