Sitting here in St Louis airport . Across from me is the Kennesaw St women's lacrosse team. I'm at least 8" taller in and 75 lbs heavier. They're  little girls. Any DUDE that wants to play women's sports is a sick ass jerk off that hates women. This shit should not be tolerated in our society. These DUDES need psychological help

What is even crazier, is there is a major political party, with immense political power, that actually supports this, and also believes that boys/girls and men/women should have their genitalia removed/modified, based on their mental condition.

 

That party, and their followers, have been so indoctrinated to their beliefs, that they deny the basic facts of biological sex.

Look, I'm really careful about telling other parents how to deal with their shit.  I think it's hard to put yourselves in the shoes of a parent whose adolescent has those issues.  Is society glorifying gender identity choice?  Yes, but that's a separate issue.  Regardless, I know people, who I believe are good parents, whose kid underwent a sex change during their teenage years, and I am reluctant to have an opinion on the matter because I'm not in that situation.  It gets complicated at a micro level.

But the sports thing, I don't phucking understand it.   I really don't.  Of course womens and girls sports should be limited to biological women and girls.  There isn't a rational argument against it.

I am against castration, as well as genital mutilation of anyone, regardless of whether or not it is done in a small village in Somalia for religious reasons, or in a doctor's office, for secular religious reasons, and "mental health." I'm also against men pretending to be women, in order to dominate women's sports.

No matter what changes you make to your body, it’s still inherently biologically male or female the way you were born. It may be gods cruel hoax that many feel and believe otherwise, but you can’t change that fact. A trans male to female will never give birth to a child.

IMO you are better off learning to accept and deal with your unique situation with a psychiatrist than undergoing hormone treatment and mutilating your genitalia. 

I’ll also add society as a whole needs to be more tolerant and accepting of trans people and not consider them as some kind of outcast.

The NCAA has pretty strict guidelines on trans athletes--they need to report their testosterone levels, it's unlikely she can keep that a secret from her coaches or teamates.  Just because random people didn't know her status, doesn't mean the school didn't.

She's playing at San Jose State, not Professional, the Olympics or even anything that matters.   I guess the only question would is if she's on scholarship, you could reasonably argue she took a scholarship from someone that could have played at the D2 level or something. (Women's Vball scholies are arguably the easiest to come by)

That argument pisses me off.  My daughter does club swim, does that matter in your opinion?  She's 13 and swims 5 days a week and has been working at it since she was 3.  She knows exactly who the top swimmers in her age group are from Fresno to Bakersfield, and they know who she is.  So would it be okay for a biological male to start swimming against them and dominating those top ten girls who've been working at it their whole lives?  It doesn't matter right, it's not professional or the olympics.

Volleyball shorts don’t hide much. This isn’t a case of transitioning in order to compete. She’s been competing as a girl since before HS.
