Homework assignment: Your school's Mt. Rushmore in 3 different sports (players only)

Just a little slow season exercise....

I'm sure some Aztec fans will have a difference of opinion on a few of these, but these are all straight from my semi-cluttered mind - I didn't research the interwebs. Not all schools field baseball teams, so choose another sport if you wish, or just do football/basketball.

Basketball: Kawhi Leonard, Michael Cage, Jaedon LeDee, Xavier Thames (honorable mention: Malachi Flynn, Brandon Heath, Skyler Spencer, Matt Mitchell) 

Football: Marshall Faulk, Donnell Pumphrey, Brian Sipe, Isaac Curtis (honorable mention: Rashaad Penney, Willie Buchanon, LaRoi Glover, Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila, Kirk Morrison, Fred Dryer, Dennis Shaw) 

Baseball: Tony Gwynn, Stephen Strasburg, Graig Nettles, Mark Grace (honorable mention: Bud Black, Travis Lee, Ty France, Dave Smith)

Ours is gonna be light

Basketball: Brian Shaw, Orlando Johnson, Gabe Vincent, Don Ford 

Baseball: Michael Young, Shane Bieber, Skip Schumaker, Dillon Tate (honorable mention Barry Zito, Ryan Spilborghs, Kyle Nelson)

DJ was a really solid PG, but he had Kawhi, Billy White, Malcom Thomas, etc. for a supporting cast. X pretty much carried the team his best year, and willed them to a Sweet 16 appearance, which is as far as DJ/Kawhi got too. X had some great teammates as well, but he was the unquestioned star, and also was conf POY in 2013-14.

It depends, is this based more on their pro career or college career? Because it would be different answers for Nevada.

While there’s plenty to choose from, I’d have Josh Allen, Larry Nance Jr and Bryce Meredith (wrestling) on any lists.

I debated a lot on putting Nance in over Leckner. Definitely agree on Meredith. While Allen is a hell of a player, I don't think he was a better player in college than those I listed.
