New referee consortium

Jeff Goodman reporting that the Big 12, MVC, Big West, WCC, Big Sky and WAC are joining a new basketball officiating consortium.  Basically all six leagues will share the same pool of officials.

Nothing about the MWC as of yet.

Surprising given the distances of the other schools but I'm hopeful it will help with better officiating.

Dutcher sounded like he was pleased with MWC officiating.

PR move. Nothing to be gained berating officials in the offseason. Though I don't recall Dutcher ever criticizing officials, other than during the game to their face. And even then, not too often.
