I have the sources I like , but they have their flaws just like every other source.

Nowhere.  Information is fragmented along innumerable strands and categories.  There is no one general source that can handle that or even remotely.   Plus, we have a commercial media even for straight news.  Hence, the 45th president.  

So, you have to search and be skeptical to a healthy degree and willing to alter views w/new credible information.  It's also time consuming so those skeptical and willing to shift views parts are important. 

The best sources are specialist.  I'll give an example w/o naming specifics.  There is a public belief (majority) on a certain scientific matter of "X".  That belief stems from public, general reporting and information.  The specialists overwhelmingly say not "X", but "Y" is true.  If you read the latter's sources, you are better off and closer to the truth.  For science, seek science.  For the economy, seek economists.  For government, seek the political scientists.  Even the hard science folks will not agree, but good specialist sources get you closer than general reporting. 

The real sad thing is in this info overload era, alternative truths have been monetized from small time as clicks on a blog to the number of viewers for ad rev. on major cable outlets.  The amount of misinfo and disinfo is staggering.  Hence, being on the top of this year's list of global dangers by that one organization.  

But, it's hard and time consuming, as I mentioned. It kind of goes against our tendencies to seek bias.  It's comfortable when you get information feedback that reinforces your beliefs.  I'm not immune by far.

I was being facetious.  There are way more reliable sources than from where a lot of people get their "news" Sometimes I think the internet has made us collectively dumber and this was exposed during Covid. 

I have a general rule to not really trust news that relies on clicks or eyeballs. They are way more interested in driving a narrative and generating emotional response. This occurs on the left and the right.  News that relies on a subscription model is a lot higher quality IMO.
