Unfortunately, Coyotes is not an option as that name will stay with the former owner if he can get an arena built in Phoenix.  For my money I like the Mountaineers best of the 20 naming options on the website.  Black diamonds makes zero sense to me.  The logo/uniform and color options are non-existent.

Black Diamonds makes sense. There's 8 world class ski resorts within 25-40 minutes of SLC.  I think Black Diamonds could be some nice logos and marketing. As long as the Diamond is black, the rest can be whatever. Everything goes with black.

I get that.  I've been skiing in Utah 2-3 times a year every year since the mid 90's.  I just think the nickname sux for a hockey team and I promise you if this name is chosen the uniforms will be generic and hideous.  Think Carolina or Tampa, two of the worst NHL logos and uniforms in the league.  The NHL can do better!

Whatever is picked in Utah, there will always be someone who doesn't like it. They may pick something I don't like but I'm not too worried about it. I'm just happy to get a team. I do like that our ownership got the public involved.

Carolina has a great logo. 

The NHL has the best logos of any of any league in North America - if not the world.
