Top 3 teams going into next season are SDSU (always it seems),  New Mexico and the Broncos.   Don't sleep on USU or Nevada depending on what happens with their rosters from here on out.  

Before Cardenas I would have said UNM might be the favorite because of the discrepancy at PG with Dent being so good.  That gap has narrowed.  And now it's a crap shoot at the top which makes the league that much more fun and helps prevent a perceived drop off from how good the league was this last season.

Given where things are at right now I’d order the top 3 as Boise State, New Mexico, San Diego State. But it’s still way too early given what can happen thru the portal. Those are the three that I would expect to challenge for At Large bids. The next four (some order of CSU, Nevada, UNLV, Utah State) have work to do to improve their rosters. The last four (some order of Air Force, Fresno State, San Jose State, and Wyoming) are no hopers next season.

That looks about right. The top three looks pretty clear (as it currently sits). I have tremendous confidence in Medved and Alford. They'll be fine when it's all said and done. Utah State seems to always be competitive (somehow). Who knows what UNLV's roster will look like (annual issue), but Thomas is a great piece to build around.

Definitely too soon. Rosters won't look like they do now in October.

UConn is rated far to low in both projections.

Pre-season Beauty contests before we even know what rosters will look like.
