These last two years have been insane. No one was even close to them.

I thought Purdue would be tough with Edey. Dan Hurley had the perfect game plan. He’s hands down the best coach in the college game right now.

Only Kentucky and UCLA have more titles.  I doubt too many on this board were even alive for most of UCLA’s championships.  Hell, that’s probably true of half or more of Kentucky’s.  Meanwhile, all of UCONN’s titles have been won since 1999.

Wow that’s amazing. They’ve basically won a quarter of national titles over the past 25 years.

Under three different coaches too.

Does this mean the shaming and casting of stones towards SDSU and Utah State can end now ?

Everybody got blown out by these two Schools.

SDSU, yes…. USU?  Not a chance.  There’s never a good excuse for a 40 point beatdown.

I’ll excuse USU. Their coach was already halfway out the door before the tourney even started.  They were obviously content with themselves with winning that first game in the tourney and their hearts weren’t in the next game. As soon as Purdue started going on a run and presented them with some adversity, they just flat gave up from that point on, getting outscored 85-44 over the final 29 min of the game.

You guys didn’t do any worse than any other team against UConn. Not sure why anyone would cast stones.

106-67 is a beatdown and bad look normally seen with completely overmatched 15/16 seeds, especially considering it happened against a team that stormed the court for the regular season championship from a conference that got a record 6 bids.  USU picked a bad night to have an off game against a top seed.

UConn became a blue blood under Calhoun but people never accepted them because they were deemed an "outsider." Same with Gonzaga. Some people just can't accept change

Yeah people forget that UCONN was nothing until Jim Calhoun came. Calhoun is on the level of Coach K, Wooden, and Pitino to me.

Calhoun likes schtupping on checkered tablecloths too?

It gives me a headache just trying to think down to your level

Gonzaga has never won a championship, they certainly aren't a blue blood.
