Don't forget that at least CSU beat Virginia, 1-3

Did forget than ----- Guess the MWC is 0-3 from the start of round of 64 ..........actually 1-2.........BSU lost in the round of 68

Just a miserable showing by the MWC this far ........SDSU, USU & UNM need to get some wins ........and maybe UNLV can win a few in the NIT

Good game Rams,

Came back and made a game of it, just far too many turnovers in a grind-out game. Texas flexed an extra inch here and there and there's no shame in staying right there with them.

Good season. Good job.

I hate to say it but I don't think the MWC is going to do very well tomorrow either.

These power league teams seem to have a size advantage over our teams. Clemson is big like this Texas team and will likely bully us around. Utah State will probably get bounced too.

It will be up to SUDS again.

I didn't really see Texas as this matchup nightmare for CSU. I think the Rams were worn out and that exasperated the physical differences. It's a very different game had CSU not being +++++ed and to play in the play in. Not making excuses. Just a fact. They looked exhausted to me. Especially Stevens.

UNM will be fine. Clemson isn't some 90s/early 00sACC physical powerhouse. UNM might lose, but won't be because they can't handle the Tigers' physicality.

I mean I think they've done fine. If Boise and Nevada close out those games the narrative is different. Boise and CSU just couldn't make shots but they handled the length and physicality fine, including Nevada all 3 played good enough defense to win but the offenses let them down. The MW has been really physical all year, I don't think that has been or will be the reason they lose.

I hope you're right. Even if we can hang with them physically I am worried about their ability to knock down the three. Hall can shoot it for a 6'10" guy and their PG can really shoot the rock.

Their guards are mediocre at best. I like how Toppin and Nelly match up with their front court  better than they match up with our guards. Lobos by 8.

Tough, tough, tough tonight.

Rams started fine and then completely disintegrated once they went to the bench. From up 8-2 to down 27-11. Thats a 25-3 run for those that are counting. Texas were the aggressors and CSU never responded until it was too late.

I had hoped to go further but in the end , it was a great season as no one expected CSU to make it to the NCAA Tournament this year.

Not sure why every CSU player thought they were Steph Curry.  Cartier and Steven's were shrinking pssys with Cartier scared of going to the rim and Steven's completely pushed off of running the offense, no toughness.

Being a mw I'm in continual awe of our failure

Yeah but in all fairness, Boise could have won their game and Nevada should have won theirs. I'm just amazed that after the lockdown D that held the Virginia to 14 first half points CSU could only muster 11 in the first half tonight. What the actual.

Taking a lot of shit from my friends after pimping the conference tho. This is me today -->

Texas was a tougher matchup for CSU. They were bigger and stronger in the post so CSU couldn’t get the easy baskets they got against Virginia. As a result they had to take more perimeter shots and couldn’t hit them.

There are no excuses for Nevada losing. They pissed away a game they had in the bag.

CSU shooting like Virginia partly because they can’t get those inside buckets against Texas.

Only 11 points at halftime. Yikes.

Hard to tell whether CSU is just having a bad game or the travel and quick turnaround gave them tired legs. They don’t have that zip in their step they had against UVA.

I'd put more emphasis on:

* 'Zay have a strained quad

* Your theory about our lack of an inside game 2nite (Thurs)

It's nice to see the refs let us play.  However, you got to draw the line somewhere.  Someone needed to put a stop to the Wrong Horns flying around w/HIGH ELBOW.

Who would have thought CSU would score less in a half than Virginias 14.  Wow that was pitiful.

Not me.

YES...the 1st-1/2 of CSU v. the Wrong Horns was "PITIFUL."

Q:  However, is it more, or less "pitiful" than Beehive State State getting BLOWN-OUT in The Fort last month by 20-Pts [75-CSU  I  55-Ute State]?

Do you need some Windex for that glass house of yours.  Y'all scored 26-pts in the 1st-Half vs CSU in Ft Fun, NoColo.  Los Rammies beat you in both halves [1st: by +17 & 2nd: +3].  CSU v. The Other Aggies scoring differential for 2023-'24 was:  +15 ADVANTAGE CSU.  We lost to y'all in Low-Gone by 5-pts [72-CSU  I  77-Ute State].

During tourney time, y'all & my Rams both lost in the Semi-Final Round of the Mtn West Tourney..  We lost to NewMX by 13-pts, y'all lost to CSU-Diego by 16-pts.  Once AGAIN, +3  ADVANTAGE CSU.  Don't forget we lost to the eventual Mtn West Conf Tourney Champion.

Was Akron the only NCAAT squad y'all played OoC?  Did you catch the Zips lost to Creighton by 17-pts.  That's same Blue Jays team CSU beat by 21-pts, also on a neutral court.

The REAL Aggies beat Virginia in NOT-the-1st Rnd by 25-pts.  Y'all don't have to win by a bunch.  However; PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE beat the Frogs mañana (Fri) & most of what I wrote above will be rendered meaningless.

GO BEEHIVE STATE STATE  -  Beat the frog
