He seems ill equipped to be successful in the NIL world. A coach like Miles builds through player development over multiple years. The Academy admission standards alone made it hard enough pre-NIL My ex- Brother and Sister-in-law were both AFA scholarship athletes. I miss the old school days. UNM has had multiple 1st round NBA draft picks and all of them were 2-4 year starters with the Lobos. I doubt any of them would have stayed at UNM in the NIL era. Kade scored like 9 ppg as a junior in Idaho 4a basketball (5a is the highest) and then was shipped off to the Link Academy for his senior year so he could be hidden on the bench of a super team full of high D1 recruits. He was never ever going to get non garbage time minutes for BSU. He's not a D1 player or anything close to it. This was for the best unless he just wanted to be a Steven Izzo, but that's tough to do when you just watched your brother play in big games for the past 4 years.
