But You will be lucky to get more than 10 minutes out of him before he fouls out. Good get, we could have used him. We need 3 bigs we only have 2. We have an upgraded Atiki from Utah and the stud Fous who Bill Self said was our best player. BYU needs another one, not sure we can get a 3rd string 5 as good as Atiki. Thanks for the context. I think he will probably be a quality rotational big when UNM needs to go with a big lineup. Hopefully there's some room to grow, but Toppin's agent really +++++ed UNM by having him wait until the last portal day to declare. I think they're scrambling a bit as a result. It is a douche move to wait until the last day of the transfer session to do it, especially when in Toppin's cases he would have been one of the top 2 go to players on the team next year. Its one thing if the coach brings in someone to take your spot/playing time at the last minute and then you a transfer as a result but that is not the case here.
mikexom
Unclear on JTs destination, Draft or Transfer but it's clear his agent wasn't making anything on his UNM NIL and will be on his new NIL or pro contract...just saying

WYO1016
With the developments in Laramie, I'm going to indicate them in the same way that I've got Tonje under New Mexico. Crossed him out after he transferred in then transferred out. If a player that didn't previously transfer exits in the 30 day window they'll be indicated like any other normal transfer. If the agent was advising JT to move on to a bigger NIL deal/new school where the agency gets a cut, then fine. Signal that early in the window to UNM. It was bush league to not signal and wait to the 11th hour to do so. UNM at minimum likely lost out on Jerry Deng because of this.

OrediggerPoke
Add Obi Agbim, Tyree Ihenacho and Yuto Yamanuchi-Williams to the portal. Yuto, who proclaimed his 100% commitment to Wyoming days ago, now poised to join his 4th team in less than 3 years.
roughrider
I think in the end it's all best for Wyoming that Linder go and his recruits go as well. Find the right coach. Always the key. I suggest calling the USU AD and get some tips.

Linder sure timed this to impart maximum damage on the program. No one really left to add. Oh well, it’s still worth it. I’d say let’s hold open tryouts next fall and just add a bunch of walk ons and then let the new coach really build a program with a plethora of schollies going into the following season. No, he didnt. The TT assistant moved on. Linder has connections with the current HC. It's really that simple. SDSU has lost assistants before and during Spring Ball. Before and during Fall Camp. This is nothing but late stage musical chairs Quote "We don't have evidence but, we have lot's of theories." Americans Mayor

Are you really comparing an OC in the MWC leaving for a promotion versus a head basketball coach leaving for likely less money to be an assistant? Come on man. Let’s be honest here. Those aren’t even comparable.
