This doesn't seem huge money maker- or something only Boise State could offer. How many Buzo Burritos did you eat this year? Establish a pipeline? Cardenas said he played with Thomas Bropleh (Boise ‘14) on a “pro” team in Spain before BSU. Maybe an assistant could go and turn it into a recruiting trip? roughrider
What's the story on Jazz Gardner? I don't recall hearing his name much for Nevada. Is there an upside to his game? Pack fans, any inputs?

His body is not developed and was a defensive liability so he did not see the floor much, he has the potential to develop into a player , probably another year out before he is a real contributor

The entire front court graduates after this next season and they need someone in 2025.

I wasn't impressed with him and he didn't play much. I was wondering what Reno fans thought. He's obviously a high ceiling talent, but clearly not developed. I admit I'm not terribly thrilled if they were to pick him up, especially compared to the Cardenas pick up. However, they do need a bench big and will lose Omar and Deggie next season, so he wouldn't be heavily relied on until his Jr season. It's an intriguing addition if it happens, but not earth shattering. Could potentially pay off, but more likely a rotation guy. I do like picking off MW players. Leon is probably the least liked coach in the league and this would just add to that.

He got his starting PG and now it using the portal to build the roster with development guys for 2025 when the Broncos will lose 4 starters. Jazz fits the bill even if Leon's ability to develop posts (or PG's for that matter) has been far below his ability to develop wing players and forwards.
PTR
Nelly coming back to UNM. Bit of a mixed bag last year, but when he's on, he's a very good rebounder, and rim protector.

Leon certainly hasn't had as much success with bigs, but he's had some wins. Ryan Watkins growth was stellar. Deggie has transformed from a mostly perimeter guy to almost exclusively a post up guy. When Omar arrived, they said he had zero post up game and turned into a legit scoring threat down low. I haven't heard any connection to Boise State, but I'd love to get this guy from Wazzu. He'd provide immediate rim protection and defense while also getting three years to develope. https://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/player/_/id/5174971/rueben-chinyelu

Should certainly be one of the favorites in the league.

Obviously it's impossible to know what's going on upstairs in the teenage brain but just from observing body language, he never seemed very excited to be a member of the Pack. Sometimes guys who were big time stars in HS get to college and are told they aren't ready. Sitting for a season makes the shoulders slump for sure. Hard to smile too. Then the attitude becomes a cancer and any development slows to a grind. Change of scenery might help. But he's going to hear the same thing when he gets here if he signs.
