He put together the strategy for this year along with finding khalifa or at least finding out how well he would fit. He is the money ball analyst we need to keep. BYU won’t pay up to keep him I’m sure. Holding onto him is our biggest key. Head coach can be fill in the blank. I actually would forget about Madsen he is too expensive. The only guys I was interested in were Oats, Tom in Tucson, and Chris Beard, but none of them were going to be realistic candidates. Hurley was never coming, and Drew has the personality of a sweaty gym sock. Expecting a top dude to show up and replicate part successes from other places is short-sighted and stupid, anyway. Watched a few BYU games and always came away impressed with their offense, especially compared to Cal’s post-Covid Caveman offense he’d been running. Always thought Pope was a realistic replacement from conversations I’d heard prior to Cal becoming Los Pollos Hermanos. Excited to see what he does. For a proper beach, from Long Beach you have to go south down the coast over the big channel that separates LA Co from Orange Co, to get to the beach towns of Seal Beach, Sunset Beach & Huntington Beach. #2 - Coach knows what he’s getting into.
