OK I need someone who visits TJ to confirm: are donkey shows a real thing? Seems like a urban legend a la cow tipping

Either email Eddie Vedder or pm convert.

There was a real donkey show in TJ up to about 1979. My first trips to TJ were in 1983, and I talked to people that knew all about it, that the place closed down, where it was, etc.

See.. all the makings of Urban Legend- you didn't attend said Donkey show, but know others that swear they did with copious details.

There are only two things I can't stand in this world: people who are intolerant of other people's cultures and the Dutch.

I’m talking about everyone including Mexican taxi drivers that used to take people there. The details were the same, it was real. Navy guys that actually saw it gave the same sick details.

I was doing overnight security at my stepfather’s equestrian center when I ran into a woman jacking her horse off. She said it had something to do with performance, I said you do you lady and went on my way.

Cow tipping is a real thing.

It gives me a headache just trying to think down to your level

As I stated before, where I grew up you could be in TJ in less than an hour. It's an urban legend. However, in the tourist areas, vendors would paint donkeys to look like zebras. Being so close to TJ Norte, the rumors were plentiful.

All the Mexican government has to do is give the go ahead to let the US military get rid of the cartels. They would be gone in a week. Too much money being made though.
