4UNLV

Since UNLV will be considered home court

For its games in the MW tournament, then

:Clapping:

And put our banners back, give us back our bench and our locker room..

But you’ll all get that ‘road win’..

AND TAKE DOWN THAT WALL!!

Just rotate the conference from school to school every year then everyone is happy.

1 home game every decade.

Better to just move the tourney to SLC or Phoenix in that case.  I mean it's only in Vegas because it's a tourist trap.  If you're going to take it out of Vegas, then pick a neutral site and stick with it.  Poke fans will survive since you can buy booze in SLC now.

It’s a moot point. It hasn’t helped UNLV much in all the years it’s been there. The last time they won the tournament was 16 years ago. They haven’t been in a single final since.

That and Las Vegas has more to do when your team isn’t playing and it’s pretty much centrally located for travel.

Great location IMO.

Not gonna happen. Had it in Denver for several years and nobody showed up, they couldn't wait to bring it back to Vegas.

Yeah, I remember.  that's why I said in "that case".  As in it would not do well to rotate it.  If it can't be in Vegas, then a true neutral site would be in order.  I'd prefer SLC for travel considerations in that case.  It needs to stay in Vegas though, and the T&M is fine by me.  If the Rebels think they're getting shorted by the NCAA committee, then find a new venue in Vegas.  When UNLV is good, they'll have far more fans and when they're bad almost none show.  It is what it is.  There is a home court advantage to be had, but it's not guaranteed.

It is home game.

It ain't a home game.  Floor is different.  Sight lines are different.  Don't use their own locker room.  Don't sleep in their own beds.  What part of playing in the T&M under these conditions makes it a home game?

It’s played in Las Vegas at the T&M. By definition it IS a home game. Have adjustments been made to the experience to try and negate some of the advantages of one team playing in their home arena? Yes.

Nevada has hosted the Big Sky/Big West/WAC tournaments and well it was a home game for them too. This may be the most stupid argument ever.

Nobody is arguing that it is a home game. If you’re going to get credit for it being a road win, then give us back our stuff.

They try to make it as much of a neutral court as possible including the deplorable BYU wall even though UNLV has only won I think 3 MW tourneys in 24 years. I agree that if they count it as a home game they should let us keep our court or at the very least dismantle the hated wall. I'd help em do it for free.

They say home court advantage, not home arena advantage.

Playing in front of fans will change the in game experience for the Rebels.

THE WALL

Being in the visitor's locker room because they are never the higher seed.

It's the only value UNLV brings to the MW.

They are at the bottom of the Conference when it comes to post season revenues.

They finally landed a Bowl Bid last year. Other than that, nada for a decade on the FB side and 16 years on the BB side.

How much longer until there are no UNLV fans that remember let alone were alive when that happened ?

Should be at the MGM Grand.

Granted SDSU wouldn't have that T&M home floor advantage anymore.

Would it make a difference for the Debs ?
