I have laughed at all these commercials since day 1 and most of them simply don't apply to me.

BUT....

The latest one, I'm flat out busted. I have saved many wood scraps from projects thinking I might find a use one day. I've also kept old car mats around "just in case". And I've also been sent home with leftovers from family dinner with plastic butter tubs and other containers that don't belong. And yes, I kept them and reuse them in the microwave, trying to find that perfect cook time to save the flimsy container from melting. LOL.

 

@IanforHeisman you and I have discussed getting older and more mature lately. Are you guilty of any of this my friend? LOL.

 

@4UNLV  and @Broncomare, be honest you ladies have tissue box covers don't you?

I have a garage full of “just in case” crap I’ll probably never use . My wife made a rule that says if I haven’t touched it in 2 years to throw it out, because it means I’ll never use it. But I have a shed where the pump for the pool is I use store those things. 
 

Love those commercials.. people start clapping at the end of a movie and the guys like “the people that made this movie aren’t here” had dying.

and freaking Costco, they put those good floor matts on sale and the only one I really need is the driver's side...wtf am I supposed to do with the other 3

Things like that raise the "Where do the algorithms think you have been on the internet" question. Obviously the algorithms have field days with MWCBoard threads.

I did notice that Dr. Rick's advice is considered the more valuable of two items though.

Guilty.  I just cannot throw out my 3 boxes of old AV cables, plugs and connectors going back to 1995 that cannot ever be used again.  I swear I will be able to use my parrallel printer cables again one day.
