Supposedly he was let go prior to the whole coaching carousel hitting us. Brennan hired a former Arizona WR to coach that position group.

Sure, his teams regressed in years 13-15, but if his SJSU career follows the same path I’ll be ok if the program regresses when my second grader is finishing her undergrad. 

Like any option head coach, he's as good as his QB. He had a great one in Keenan Reynolds but they fell off badly at that position when he graduated. Still, a solid choice. I'd think the parents of recruits will love the service academy part of his resume.
