bigd
Nevada swept the doubleheader against Sac State who is a pretty good team this year. Next two series against Boise and SDSU, gonna find out if we’re for real.

To say they have not lived up to expectations this season would be an understatement IMO. They frankly don't seem very motivated this season. Even the Seniors, other than Alycia Flores, seem to be playing with ennui to some extent. They seem to play well one game and then barely show up for the next game. And the decisions on who is the pitcher for each game and not removing a pitcher when they are very obviously struggling are head-scratchers. Bronco7454
MWC SOFTBALL RESULTS OF FRIDAY - April 19, 2024 4 p.m. MT – Boise State @ Nevada - Boise State raced out to a 7-0 lead (with 3 home runs) and then watched Reno come back with 5 runs (on more home runs) but Boise State won 7-5. 6 p.m. MT – San Jose State @ Colorado State - Postponed due to rain & SNOW. I assume they will attempt to play a DH today or Sunday but their schedules don't indicate that as of this morning. 6 p.m. MT – Utah State @ New Mexico - The Lobos won 9-6 6 p.m. PT – U.N.L.V. @ Fresno State - Fresno State led 1-0 for most of this game but U.N.L.V. rallied and scored 2 runs in the 6th inning & then held off Fresno State to win 2-

Bronco7454
There appears to be something very wrong in Reno. I write that here because - for the 2nd straight day - the telecast of the Boise State vs. Reno softball game has ZERO audio during the game. The ONLY audio occurs during the commercial breaks. Have they not heard of audio during live sporting events in Reno? And how can they have audio during the commercials but NOT during the game itself?
