You have a shit article written by The NY Times that quotes the Hamas Health Ministry and Palestinian Hamas controlled reporters. Then The NY Times quotes the WHO and the UN who also get their info. directly from the Hamas Health Ministry. So the NYT’s name drops and tries to sound so sourced and intelligent on their Gaza reporting. The reality is, all you have is a big steaming pile of shit of a story. A just a big circle jerk of Hamas propaganda.

when. October 7th?

I think the heart of the disconnect between opinions here is when this all began.

For you, I think it all began when you chose to stick your head up your butt and refuse to come out. Please don’t continue to let your butt hold your head hostage. We’ve had enough of hostage taking, already. And I don’t see anyone making your butt a special deal to set your head free.

I’m protesting right now for you with Palestinian fervor:

“From the anus to the pee, please let toonkee’s head go free!

“From the anus to the pee, please let toonkee’s head go free!”

Trey Yingst is by far doing the best reporting on the war. Unfortunately he's contracted with Fox, but he just gave a tour of part of the tunnel complex under the Al-Shifa Hospital, the one some of you still aren’t quite sure what didn’t happen to it weeks ago. 😂 Anyway, cool and damp, but he showed one of the bathrooms with a shower, and you’d think it was a regular bathroom in a nice house with plenty of room. They must have merged the bathroom plumbing with the hospitals.

Get some sleep friend.  That accusation hurts me more than makes me think, and makes me think less of you for that accusation.  Maybe think on that?  Night.  Love you.

Good stopping point

That reference to inclusion wasn't a statement about you. It was a statement -- while admittedly flip -- about how, for all the talk about modern militaries being inclusive and modern (including militaries like the IDF, and Ukrainian military's, and heck even our military), it functions to do one thing - to blow shit up and incinerate people. I get that it reads like I am taking to you directly, but that wasn't the intent. I apologize for the bad communication on my part. I thought it seemed clear when I say the dude (or other) in this scenario is the one pushing the button, not you personally. But if that was not clear, I am sorry for making it seem that way.

But I'm not sorry for the otherwise general statements here, which is that you had been parroting the dehumanizing statements of a military apparatus that has been killing thousands and thousands of children and claiming they have literally no responsibility for pushing those buttons, and doing so, frankly, in a way that made me question either how serious you were being on this topic or how dedicated you really are to some of the ideals you claim to hold. And if that hurts your feelings, I don't know what to say other than I hope one day you reconsider your assumptions about what drives people to do the things they and ask yourself where those assumptions come from.

Planning is an exercise of power, and in a modern state much real power is suffused with boredom. The agents of planning are usually boring; the planning process is boring; the implementation of plans is always boring. In a democracy boredom works for bureaucracies and corporations as smell works for skunk. It keeps danger away. Power does not have to be exercised behind the scenes. It can be open. The audience is asleep. The modern world is forged amidst our inattention.

They said it was not independently verified.  You would have to be a +++++ing retard to not think that Hamas is using the hospitals.  We have +++++ing proof.  They need to get the +++++ out of the hospitals.

And yeah, this entire thread is nothing but you morons posting unverified tweets and conspiracy theories but THAT is what you take exception too?

I’m calling it right now. Hamas is just doing this supposed swap and pause deal just to fvck with Israel and the hostage families. I’ll believe it when I see it. It wouldn’t even surprise me if they send them out to the cameras and gun them down on live TV.

Maybe we’ll get some hostages eventually, but they’re going to delay & delay and then up their demands, and the world will try to pressure Isarael to stop and wait for Hamas to come around. Extraordinarily cruel they are. Of course, you can try this deal, but I’m afraid it’s not going to end well.

LOL, a lot of reports still aren’t saying they can’t verify, and most of them that do go through the entire report giving out propaganda like it’s real and then a tiny disclaimer at the end. It’s dishonest little doggie. Ask your mom and pop at breakfast in the morning. They’ll tell you.

Damn, people are so thirsty to have hot takes they can’t wait until a four day ceasefire concludes to have a take about that four day ceasefire.

Settle down. Everyone is acting like this is a done deal, and I’m just saying that I’m skeptical because we’re doing a deal with the devil. Everyone needs to remember that.

No dumbass.  Most of my post are verified statements from Israeli members of Likud.  Like this one….

You are making a hot take on a four day thing that hasn’t finished yet. Just be patient, we will see what happens. Not everything requires a prediction.

No you Nazi bitch, you have been posting conspiracy and easily debunked shit for 50 pages.

"Israel is keeping a 5 year old locked up with no legal representation!!!"  "Bombing hospitals"  "Ethnic cleansing"  "Likud let it happen!!!"  Posting a tweet of the IDF returning fire on a hospital where Hamas had just fired on them from and calling it an example of ethnic cleansing.

Nazi mother +++++er.

I don’t know where the line is.  I don’t have a set number tbh. I think the actions Israel has taken to avoid civilian casualties has been sufficient, from giving warning where they’re about to strike to dropping leaflets.  Hamas has prevented a lot of civilians from leaving.

In war, civilians are always collateral damage and it sucks.  I don’t think anybody here is cheering for more dead Palestinians.  If Israel started carpet bombing Gaza (they aren’t despite the rhetoric) or going out and doing to Palestinian civilians what Hamas did to the Israelis I would be on the ceasefire train.

What I don’t support is Israel occupying Gaza or permanently forcing out of Gaza the Palestinians.  That area must remain for the Palestinians.  I would support a peace keeping force being sent into Gaza to maintain the peace and force Hamas out permanently.

But if there is to be a permanent ceasefire the onus isn’t on Israel to stop.  It is on Hamas to surrender.  The world must put pressure on Hamas, by pressuring Iran, to stand down.

No one will volunteer to send a peace keeping force, and the typical UN PKF’s are worthless and weak, anyway. They don’t keep the piece, and they aren’t a force. Iran and Hamas could give a crap about what the world wants.

Isarael will absolutely have to occupy Gaza for a short time until another security force is willing to step in long term. Neither Egypt or Jordan are willing to provide a security force.
