Bianco might be the answer, he made some plays and got down field in a hurry. Hopefully you guys can get the offense figured out and start winning games. We also think Bianco might be the answer or at least we'd like to see him play enough to find out. He's got a good arm & gets the ball out quick. The loyalty to Lewis is a mystery. We wont win another game with Lewis so why not give Bianco a shot?

CPslograd
I like that Buchanan kid a lot. Brings the wood and times his blitzes well. Good player.

However, this looked (to me, and essentially the over/under projections) like a 7-win team coming into the season. They have problems, and will drop a few games, but are absolutely in position to blow preseason expectations out of the water. This. The shitbag from sheep country really +++++ed this program. I think Wilson is fine, he understands everything about the program and has done good things with bringing in local kids and what not. Problem is the offensive staff he chose is awful, needed to find a veteran OC like Norvell did for the defense when he was hired. That decision might end up getting him fired

And upgrading the talent at WR wouldn't hurt either.

Will be interesting to see what her decision is, guess it just depends on if they can find a way to win a few games. I think 1 more year with a new offensive staff might be worth a shot, but hard not to fire everyone if they go 0-12 or 1-

Well, I agree that they are exceeding expectations, because they lost a ton after last year. but if I’m honest, anything less than a conference championship at this point and I’ll be disappointed.
southfresno
Did anyone hear the announcers comment about how people would flood into downtown Fresno to celebrate the win tonight? Clearly they are not familiar with downtown Fresno.

He’s getting a bum rap out of it. I have some plays on video I’ll post later this evening to illustrate. 1. The first drive was going great because it was new. But it didn’t take long for Fresno to make adjustments to stop it, and we didn’t make any counter adjustments. 2. Fresno started with some blitzing stunts that we didn’t pick up way too often. Dollars would also sometimes run a worthless flat route instead of pass block. Or he’d fall for some Fresno blitz trickery. Dollars can pass block pretty good for his size…..when he’s actually doing it. 3. Our OL sometimes would stop blocking before the whistle (yes you Poso). Sometimes they flat out miss a blocking assignment. 4. Some of our receivers have the opportunity to see their QB is in trouble, and they need to watch for that if possible, and when it’s happening and they’re not open, stop their route and run back toward the QB to an open area. Our guys just run their routes like robots, and that’s what they were told to do, and aren’t thinking on the fly. All of this is coaching, playbook and play calling. I’m not down on Lewis at all. He’s getting killed and shouldn’t be if we had a good offensive staff. Bianco skill set just happens to work a bit better with our dysfunction. Lewis may well be a better QB if everyone did their job.

Good coaching can take a bad team and still find ways to get guys open and score some points. This offense literally struggles to do everything, hard for them to get any yards at all
