SDSU had 9,000 tickets sold/distributed that were not used according to the turnstile. If those were purchased but not used the AD may be looking at short-term revenue instead of what it means about future sales.

Then about 10,000 tickets not even distributed/sold, .

I don't know SDSU fan game-day walk-up sales but a few thousand of that large remaining amount undistributed on game day should be a last-minute student flash give away one or two hours before a game. Heck even pay some people to walk through the dorms one or two hours before kickoff to give away tickets. Better than an empty stadium and builds student involvement for the future.

Our athletics department has gradually regressed since Jim Sterk left for Missouri in 2017. Yeah, the school accomplished a lot in getting Snapdragon Stadium built but from what I've heard, JD Wicker's part in the process has been greatly overrated.

To that, I'll add this. Whenever I hear that man interviewed, I cringe. My two friends and I like to add up how many "you-knows" and "ums" come out of his mouth. I claim it's twice as many of the former than the latter but they disagree. Either way, there are so many, it's tough to keep up.

The "fake news" tweet was peak WTF .  That term is essentially synonymous of guilt and he typed it on the account he uses professionally, looked and it and said "yeah, this is the best way to address this".

It honestly feels like they are playing a game to see how much they can piss us off.

Part of the Boise deal is that Boise gets veto rights on any t.v. that includes the sell of their home games.  We were going to veto the fox deal in favor of ESPN and absolutely refused to be on CBSSN.  The Fox deal was "meeting in the middle" so to speak with Boise.

If Boise had their way we would be with ESPN/Fox not CBSN/Fox.

This conference needs to listen to Boise.  We always know what is best for you.

Yeah, we'd all prefer that.  Other than the pay cut.

News flash: it's because they don't pay as much, duh. They want you to take "exposure". This isn't rocket surgery.

I doubt the difference between ESPN/Fox and CBS/Fox amounts to more than a rounding error for our ADs.  The damage of not being associated with ESPN is hard to measure, but substantial.

Again, this conference was smart to give Boise a veto.  We know what is best for you, even if your idiotic presidents don't.

I think you blame us because we pronounce your town as Boy-zee and not Boy-see as I am always reminded of by pretentious pricks (no one here of course).

But considering it’s a French with meaning “woodland or wooded area”, and pronounced Bwah-zay.

BTW correcting someone’s pronunciation while butchering it yourself is the definition of a pretentious prick.

I'll take money over exposure every time. This monkey don't dance for free.

Easy, TBSUF always know what's best.  They just said so themselves.

Green is a fine athlete I do not think he is much more athletic than Mayden though, Remember Mayden played safety few games and was excellent. Both good runners and OK passers, But running QB's take a beating.

There is no doubt Boise has slipped from its peak years but that always happens because you can't keep the same line of coaches together forever. it's  what happened to San Diego State after Coryell and Gilbert. However, you guys are smart enough not to slip that low. This year your a good G5 team not great, pretty good. San Diego State is an average team below average this year because mostly of the inability to recruit transfers for weak spots in the offensive line and defensive line. There's no doubt as long as they have Coach Hoke they're not going to be contenders for anything.

Excuse the weird bold , a paste that does not change?

No!!! Green is the world’s greatest athlete. Stuff of legends. No one could have created a more perfect athlete in a laboratory

The pay cut is not a pay cut.  Again, if you think the difference in the offer between CBS and ESPN was significant, you are high.  The difference would have been a rounding error.  CBS is not going to offer us significantly more than any other partner or ESPN less.  The value is the value.  No way the difference in pay would have been more than 100-200k per team.   The value of ESPN having our backs and pimping us would have been worth so much more than that.

You all need to listen to Boise.
