I didn't watch the entire game so I didn't see a missed horse collar. Calls get missed all the time. Neither are right. Sanders should be suspended a game for eye poking too. CSU played a physical and at times borderline dirty game. What folks are forgetting is that so did their opponent who set the tone for that type of contest. The officials seemed to forget it as well. It wasn't unexpected, that's how the last RMS with P12 refs went down, but it wasn't right. I know you don't care to watch a replay of the entire game and I don't blame you, but you would see a lot of stuff slide on the black jerseys. In the first quarter CSU handed Sanders his first interception. It was a good play. I'm not sure why the ref watched a CU WR walk up and slap Blackburn on the side of the head as they were leaving the field and not throw a flag. I would have much preferred a high intensity well fought game without the extracurriculars, but that wasn't the case. It was NOT a dirty CSU football squad playing a bunch of choir boys. Not even close. It's over. We couldn't get it done. Partially due to a BS blindside block call, and a very questionable targeting call, but mostly because when things came down to the wire they outcoached and outexecuted us. 23 point underdogs? No moral victories, but I suddenly have hope that CSU makes some real noise in conference this year.
