Quick update @LoboMan59 was nice enough to spin up a message board on a platform that was recommended above. I tried posting some images, some x(twitter) links, any media basically, and it wasn't easy IMO and they didn't display. I'd like to keep trying more platforms.

I want to be able to put a news aggregator in as well. I want to put a page up with links to articles from different sites about the Lobos. We'll need content to drive traffic to the board. That's one method I can think of. 

Out of my mind for the Lobos!!

I used to go to Mike Scioscia’s tragic illness for Dodger info, lots of wild Dodger fans would comment. It was crazy, entertaining, wild, informative etc. 
 

But the site was run by Mike Petriello and he wound up doing work for MLB.com and MLB network so the site was closed down and it has changed to Dodger Digest today but it is nothing like MSTI.

I'm not paying $20/month for a damn fan board. It's absolutely absurd. The 5 posters that are there now can just circle jerk each other off for an eternity.

I had been on a member of the Lobo Lair going all the way back mid 2000’s or so when I was at UNM. Was a “6th man” member the last few years and got migrated to the new “pay to read/post” Lobo board. 
 

IMO - it is nowhere near the same board. Apparently there are well over 100 members, but very few post. There‘s been no posts during games and it lacks an open discussion so far. 
 

It will be interesting to see how it looks when basketball starts.

Im still learning about the site and how things work for the board. But I did else’s where social media links were allowed, but I’ll go back in and makes sure all those permissions are enabled. Also created several boards for recruiting news and Olympic sports. 
At least it’s a place to POST FOR FREE, and talk about Lobos Sports. I welcome any and all MWC fan bases to at least go check it out, and sign up if you’d like.

When the Chargers were still in SD,  I followed them via the UT Sports forums.

I suspect the LA Times has similar forums

I'd be surprised if they still have any forums. Almost all large media companies I'm aware of, have discontinued their forums/message boards. Too much toxicity, not worth the trouble.
