battle.borne Posted September 5 Share Posted September 5 So apparently the 7-day free trial with FUBO comes with a few strings. I signed up to watch Nevada get thrashed by USC on the P12 Network. But unbeknownst to me I didn't sign up for the proper tier of the free trial. So here I was panicking at 2pm on Saturday wondering how to add the sports tier etc..... Apparently, once you select free trial, basic level, there is no going back and of course nobody to call. It's a real exercise in shitty customer service. But thankfully @mugtang saved me and let allowed me to his FUBO log in so I could watch on the old laptop. Score on for Mr. Mugtang!! Thanks homie. What they don't allow you to sign up for more than 1 free trial. I guess my IP was blocked from signing up and I couldn't get past the info screen. So here in CO they add $13.99 a month to Pro for Altitude 1 and 2 to watch the Nuggets and Mavs and you can't opt out. I wanted the PAC 12 Network too but with their increased prices, it's turn off for me. Adding the regional sports network without advertising it pissed me off so I switched. Trojan209 Posted September 6 Share Posted September 6 I got screwed initially thinking they had the 7 day trial which the website claims. Apparently adding the sports package turns it into a 24 hour trial which wasn’t explained well until I checked my email the next day. I missed the email just after the 24 hours. Even after talking to support they basically said it was my fault for not knowing. So oh well. I got to watch both USC games and can watch some extra shows for a few more weeks. Something I found out for myself sometime between six to eight years ago. Learning is sometimes painful but it's learning nonetheless. For my streaming TV needs I use # 1 - YouTubeTV and # 2.
