That was just awful.  Like your premise on this issue.

To sum things up…You never took or comprehended Civics in HS, voters doing part of their Civic Duty by understanding/educating themselves on issues so they can make an informed decisions when voting is a bad thing in your book…..typical brain dead Dem mentality these days. There’s plenty of idiots on the right, but the Dems are exceptionally stupid on this.

Haley says taxpayers will be hurt by a deal between private companies and organized labor.  Taxpayers will pay for "it".

#hotlaborsummer stories are always great reminders how bullshit this “GOP supports the working class” narrative is.

Boy you are one miserable SOB.

@SalinasSpartan BTW, I am not opposed to voluntary collective bargaining in the private sector.  Higher costs will affect prices. It is a mixed bag of positives and negatives.

You’re neither for nor against unions. Neat! I’m pro-Union.

I worked my career for a corporation that had both.  I am glad I was non-union, much better pay and benefits.

It may have been an okay political statement, no opinion there, but it wasn't a logical one.  I mean, taxpayers will pay more for meat (later) when livestock herds are culled in mass and tons of other examples of macro market activities.

Not a lot of cost-push price level macro effects from a few thousand workers getting a big raise.  Just not big enough to matter to the PCE or CPI.

Hearing people talk about "educated voters only" while being obtuse on how that would wipe out most of their friends in their trenches is peak America.

It's sad how few Americans remember their civics lessons.

This is probably what she's referring to. Tim Scott did a bit on this as well.

How is he miserable by pointing out that unionization generally increases the wages and benefits of the working class, even those who are not unionized? I mean being an anti-unionist extremist cannot be construed as anything other than anti worker.

Remember that every argument you have with someone on MWCboard is actually the continuation of a different argument they had with someone else also on MWCboard.

Who is anti-union? His frequent tone to conservatives, GOP, etc.  Truth is, both parties have sold out the American worker.

"sold out" implies that there was a conscious decisions and actions...

what decisions and actions did both parties engage in to bring about the downfall of the "American worker"?
