It's definitely a lot linear than I had anticipated, but I am still having fun with it. The soundtrack is simply incredible and the sound design is top notch. I'm about 25 hours in now and I haven't even reached the halfway point with the main story, I keep getting distracted with side quests. My only gripe is that I wish your in-game dialogue choices mattered or affected how your classmates interact with you. A friend of mine is playing on PC and said much the same things as you, even the complaints. If you are a Potter fan there are so many easter eggs, lore, puzzles, treasure hunts, and exploring the castle is awesome.
