In my profession of transmission line engineering, it’s abbreviated, so my title has been Senior Trans Engineer. It’s not easy to engineer a person from one sex to another. That’s a lot of AutoCad drawings.

I've been told that I'm conservative on this board (though I consider myself in the middle or maybe slightly right of center), so let me say that these protests are dumb. That is not to say that North Face didn't have this coming given their history or boycotts/protests against other companies. Live by the sword, die by the sword. I just don't care enough about most things a company does to engage in such activities. 

The number of threads started here to express outrage in another group's outrage is equally dumb.

Oh, so you are dealing with TRANSformers all the time!  Do you have an opinion when you have to remove the vertical disconnects?  You gotta make sure those are in good condition or you blow the trans. :P

 

Perhaps if we give transgenders the XFMR acronym, it won't be right in everyone's face.
