CPslograd
My guy is set to announce tomorrow. I like Haley, but I think Scott is more of a movement conservative. I could tolerate DeSantis, but I don't think I'd ever be a fan. Scott on the other hand, is the real deal. I know, I know, the Orange Duce sucks all the oxygen out of the room, but at some point someone is going to call him out for rolling like a log on Covid in the primary debates, so I still have hope. Bob
Scott is fine, but he voted for trillions in “relief “ then tells the American people to buck up and pay your bills when they’re getting absolutely crushed by inflation. He’s nothing, but conservative platitudes. Really wish there was someone like Thomas Massie to vote for

They’re not cowards or afraid, they’re playing it smart. What happens if Haley goes nuclear after Trump right now, and then Trump gets convicted over the classified documents and can’t run? Then the Trump base won’t select her as their #2 candidate. Even if she won the nomination, probably 20% of Trump supporters won’t vote for her in the general out of spite. I was assuming Biden would be doing better by now and Trump worse by now, and GOP voters would see that Trump has no general election chance and would see him as a sure loser. So at this point (things can change), the smart strategy is to see what the document case brings, and let the left and prosecutor be the bad guys taking out Trump. Duh. Goldberg hates Trump so so so much that he can’t see the big picture with a wait and see strategy. Unless Biden gets his shit together big time and it’s clear Trump is an auto loser in the general (and doesn’t get convicted), Trump will be the nominee and it won’t matter anyway. The best he can do is less than 1% right now. The latest poll is the Harvard-Harris, and it’s totally depressing. Trump beats Biden by 7 and Harris by 11. DeSantis ties Biden and Haley down by 2. It was just announced that DeSantis will announce his candidacy tomorrow with Elon Musk. So he’ll get a nice bump from that. A lot of Americans don’t know much, if anything about Haley. So only being 2 down is respectable. Haley is the one that got rid of the confederate flag in SC when she was governor there, by the way.,
