Again, this is the most unhinged post on this board I have seen in a long while.  Since Maynard.  And you retards are defending it.

I’m not defending they jump for joy.  I am defending Republicans benefit financially from every mass shooting.  More fear, more guns, more profit, more cash donations to keep profits growing.   WTF do you think they were wearing AR-15 pins in Congress.

I posted gun sales were going up.  The money is coming from sales.  It’s pretty simple and logical…..

The NRA also spends large sums to elect Republicans to Congress and the White House. In 2016, the NRA spent more than $50 million in direct donations and outside spending—defined as “political expenditures made by groups or individuals independently of, and not coordinated with, candidates’ committees”—to support Donald Trump and six Republican Senate candidates. In 2020, it spent a total of $24 million in federal races, including $12.2 million to support 145 Republicans in congressional races, $12.2 million to oppose Joe Biden, and $4.2 million to support Trump.

None of that corroborates what the unhinged post stated.

Or our legislatures.  It would be nice if instead of targeting kids they targeted them instead.

You are such a POS.  You argue pro-2nd Amendment and yet…..

here we have a significant majority who would like reasonable constraints.  But because of money, electoral college and gerrymandering the nation currently lives under a tyrannical minority that insists our children die going to school or the mall.

Stopping this kind of shit is the point of the 2nd Amendment.

This is a detached view of reality.

I think you needs some counseling. To help your ass from bouncin’ off the walls when you get down some.

We’re all sitting in the dugout. Thinking we should pitch. How you gonna throw a shutout when all you do is bitch.

Doesn't absolve you from your prior idiotic arguments.

Yeah well you have nothing and don’t see you taking up my bet.  Will give you 2 for 1 odds.

And it remains a minority population wise backed by industry cash which is truly a tyrannical government.  The solution to tyrannical governments was not mine.   Take it up with our founding fathers.

That makes zero sense to the prior conversation.  Are you familiar with linear thought?  Rhetorical.

The polls say otherwise...I will take the feedback from voters of your vague thoughts any day.

Polls mean shit when half the states are gerrymandered to hell, the undemocratic senate gives empty land disproportionate power, the house is capped, the electoral college dilutes votes, and corporations own the Supreme Court. Face it. The slaughter will continue unabated because it’s good for business.

This is a very raw topic.  Given that I can forgive and look past and forget bad posts.  74 million voters are not complicit in these deaths.  Nobody is jumping for joy when people get killed.  I admit to having said a certain poster takes joy in these events based on his posting habits after the fact, and that war wrong too.

Dumb.  NRA money is a fraction of a fraction of political donations....

NRA contributed 27 million to all campaigns out of 2.4 billion in the house and senate.... So about 1 one thousandth....It's not moving the needle....

It does support his claim that mass shooting events drive more gun sales.   It is pretty specific on that point.

Hell yeah mass shootings lead to more gun sales. People are afraid of all the nuts out there and are arming themselves for protection. They also see more potential new laws as a result of the shootings and want to get their guns before more limitations take effect.

Does that somehow make people less dead?  Do they have malls in Costa Rica?

Not lying about anything.

They have malls, schools,  beaches, churches, outdoor activities.  Nobody worries about getting killed in a random mass casualty event.  There is little online shopping and services here so poeple actually go out into their communities.   It isn't like the US where everyone is a shut in, wary to leave their homes.

Raise the age to 21, then 27 and younger must go through an FBI background check similar to owning fully automatic weapons. Those take 9 months to a year. Then all gun owners with semi auto on up need to have their guns stored in an approved steel gun safe with no access allowed to 27 and under (unless they have gone through the FBI background check to own one). Make violations of all of the above mentioned, felonies. That will solve most of the mass shootings.

Great ideas, just like funding mental healthcare but you guys need to put more legislation like this on the house floor instead of "thinking and praying".  All we see is people like Greg Abbot loosening restrictions to "own the libs"

I see Abbott is out there promoting "mental healthcare" as the way to stop a right wing Nazi.   Yet... we know when the time comes to pass it... it will fizzle with them.   If they solve mental healthcare and we still have mass shootings,  they would have nothing scapegoat any longer so better to leave that unsolved.

Dr. Convert recommends a good SSRI, an In-N-Out Burger and a Tammy Faye Bakker quality big hug. Please don’t ever call me again. I don’t accept SJSU coupons or Crypto.

When I take my kid to elementary school this morning, the silhouette of the ar-15 will be stickered to the back window of multiple vehicles in the drop-off lane. I will kill you! I am not afraid! Have a good day at school, Jaden.

He already cut hundreds of millions from the state budget for mental health services.
