Funny you mention that.  One charge they didn’t throw at Trump was a RICO charge and that typically was how they went after Mafioso.  In my opinion given the Trump Co felonies it would seem an easy charge to make

Two things here:

1: the LOSS was never any church going "Christian" in any form.......he never went to any church & when asked couldn't name basic Bible verses

If the shoe was on the other foot Democrats would be calling how unfair this is. A Stormy Daniels affair leads to a conviction. Good lord how many woman did Clinton rape plus the trips with Epstein to have sex with little girls. the January 6th is a different matter this case is extremely hypocritical from the left. Sex with a college intern that the left had no problem with 
 

Trmp is a sleazy narcissist who has brought much of this on himself, but I guess we need to round up half of congress and throw them in jail no one follows campaign finance laws especially Democrats. This case was extremely suspect with flimsy evidence that won’t hold up to an appeal.

If Trump showed some contrition in the matter I could see pardoning him. He won’t because he’s pathologically incapable of doing so.

He wasn’t charged with having an affair or being a sleaze. Frankly, I couldn’t give a flying F what he did with Stormy Daniels. He was charged and convicted of falsifying business records. A commonly charged crime in New York State, and there was overwhelming written and physical evidence corroborated by witness testimony.

It became a felony when he falsified the business records while violating campaign finance laws to cover up the affair with Stormy. It “leveled up” the charges.

The irony is Trump tried to cover up the affair because he thought the immorality of having an affair with a porn star while his wife was home taking care of their newborn son would’ve hurt him with evangelical voters. It didn’t.

Trump should and will appeal the conviction, that is his right. Will it be over turned? Beats me. We shall see.
