If Mr. Grumpy is convicted, I envision the majority of this SCOTUS overturning the verdict based on a finding that the relevant NY law is unconstitutionally vague. Injustices Thomas and Alito will certainly do so.

It was a big mistake for Blanche not to require Trump to sign an agreement allowing him to put on only the case Blanche surely wanted to put on. Therefore, for example, Giuliani's numbskull buddy Costello would never have been called to the stand and Branche's closing argument would never have alleged that Mr. Grumpy didn't have sex with Stormy Daniels. Shannon Bream is not only a professed Christian, she's a graduate of super-conservative Liberty University. She's also an attorney and for all those reasons there's no way she isn't pretty damn sure and annoyed that Grumpy Trumpy was banging not only Daniels but Susan McDougal and God knows who else during his marriage to Ivanka. (In contrast, Bream stayed faithfully by her husband's side while he struggled with brain cancer.)

Trump has never hesitated to throw anybody under the bus so if he is convicted, he's sure as s**t going to blame his legal counsel for that verdict and maybe they would be partly to blame: But only for insufficient control of their asshat client.

I've followed it practically the whole way through.  I "expect" a guilty verdict on numerous charges - maybe by late Thursday/early Friday.  But maybe that's just me and my wishful thinking at play here...

If there was a guilty verdict but later reversed on appeal, I would think that appeal decision comes after the election.
