It's amazing how these Trumpists manage to stay on brand and on message.

It’s just wild how Republicans do not give a single shit about how many from their party are arrested for the exact thing they accuse others of doing.

All their accusations are confessions.

Remember, It's not a cult.

How many Trumpists does it take to replace a light bulb. ?

None.

He tells them he replaced it with the best product and workmanship money can buy. Then they sit in the dark applauding him for his accomplishment.

The news of the past days is Jack Smith filing to modify Trump's condition of release to prevent further fvcknuttery statements endangering law enforcement (FBI).  This after Trump falsely claimed Biden's DoJ/FBI were locked and loaded to execute him at the MAL authorized search for documents.  It's a limited gag order.

Smith used some specific language that Judge Cannon had in the past in own rulings about case integrity.  There is a lot of speculation that Cannon will not grant an order which would lead Smith to go up to the 11th District as part of a strategy to have Cannon finally removed from the case. The 11th has ruled against her before and this could be a key to the mandamus process (which I'm a little unclear on).

Follow up in Cannon's denial w/o prejudice.  Some musing Cannon is following orders of high strategic value.  Others thinking Smith knew this was coming, and can be used later to appeal to the 11th should they rule against Cannon again.  Doesn't really change trial timing in a way that matters.

Deliberations have begun after more than an hour of jury instructions. I fully expect this to last through the week.

I have not followed this one as it relates to the daily and moments of action details, but I've seen analysis that jury instructions are fairly tight.  Trump's former lawyer, the one w/the historical baseball name, predicting guilty by Friday.

I've barely kept track of it either outside of reading some recaps here and there.

That's an interesting prediction by Cobb. I'm honestly expecting a hung jury after three days of deliberations. But that's more than likely just my cynicism.

"Notably, Merchan tells the jurors that in determining intent, they can ask: What did the person do or say? Was the result the natural or probable outcome?

The intent to defraud need not be an intent to defraud any particular person or entity and can extend beyond economic concerns.

Several jurors moved to take notes when the judge says, “general intent to defraud suffices."
