I have no idea why Trump thinks it is a good idea for him to constantly try to demonize and pick fights with the judge.  Isn't he aware that the judge is the one who will impose the sentence on Trump if he is found guilty?  Does he really want to antagonize the judge?  

Trump is an idiot...he already got a half billion dollar judgement in a civil suit.  He is going to +++++ around and find out and the judge will give him a 20 year sentence due to his lack of remorse and his threatening antics and violations of his gag order.

He's gotten this far dodging consequences for his actions, so why would he think it would start now?

They made it to seven jurors. 

 

No more jury selection until Thursday, as the court won't be in session tomorrow. Trump was also admonished for commenting loudly about a prospective juror's social media posts.

I doubt a lawyer would recommend this (or maybe his would), but it would probably be part of some appeal. Judge abused their discretion in imposing penalties because they were biased and blah blah blah.

In reading the article, I didn't see anything to suggest what side of her 'friends, family, colleagues' might be trying to influence her.  Could be MAGA, could be Never Trumpers.  As the judge said, the media shouldnt be reporting anything that could identify anybody.

The judge should do something about it.  Like enforcing his own gag order.  But he won't.

• A woman who was already empaneled to the jury expressed concerns that part of her identity was made public by the media.
• Judge Juan Merchan excused her and urged journalists to limit their physical descriptions of jurors.
• Merchan also ruled media outlets cannot publish the jurors' answers to question 3 on the questionnaire, which inquires about their current and past employers.
