If I was the Lakers I think I'd feel ok. They played C+ games or worse twice and had real shots to win both games. Lebron and AD looked gassed but so did the Nuggets. To me this feels pretty even and I bet it's gonna be 2-2 heading back to Denver.

Maybe they’re just a C+ team

The heat are the hardest working team in professional sports. Spo who started his career as video coordinator with a windowless office in the basement of the arena working longer hours than the coaching staff, a bunch of undrafted overlooked guys who extract every ounce possible out of limited (compared to other teams) talent, jimmy butler who no one ever confused with a superstar coming out of college but is fueled by pure white hatred for anyone with the audacity to play against him, and pat riley who probably should have retired a decade ago but he’s a vampire who subsists on the blood of vanquished foes and this is the only way to ensure his supply never runs out. If it didn’t mean giving Florida a reason to celebrate I’d be rooting for them.

It’s like moneyball for basketball. Never seen anything like it.

We’re all sitting in the dugout. Thinking we should pitch. How you gonna throw a shutout when all you do is bitch.

When the game is on the line, give the ball to LeBron...

...watch him get stuffed, complain about a foul, then walk off the court 1st.

It gives me a headache just trying to think down to your level

Looks like the Nuggs year?

East finals go tomorrow. Am surprised to see the total wimpishness from the Celtics big stars, Brown, Tatum, Smart.. Horford. They look like they don't give a F about winning, and play really  Stupid hoops.

Anyways the Heat deserve it (a Finals appearance)  ... and Spolestra is a great coach!

I think the West was really weak this year.  The number #1 seed only had 53 wins?

In some ways the Lakers were playing with house money with so many missed games by stars and getting to the conference finals from the play in bracket.

Miami’s record hasn’t been a true reflection of their team more than a few times/years in the playoffs.

I’ll take the Heat 4-2 against the Nuggets. Could be wrong.

LeBron is now like Tim Duncan for me. Time to move on. But he kept going way past closing time.

Give me the Nuggets in five.   Heat have no match up for the joker.

He's still dominant at times, though. Look at his stats. I'm confident he'll adjust his PED regimen and have another stellar year next year.

sorry ute, this is a dumb take...

the man just played all 48 minutes of an NBA game...

scored 40, shot 15-25, 4-7 from 3, had 10 boards and 9 assist...

I'd hardly say he's "past closing time"

Not to mention the series easily could be 2-2 or even 3-1 in favor of the Lakers.  It was actually a close series, but Denver had the best player in Jokic and the more consistent players in the 4th.  They were saying that Irving would be a good addition to LA, as he won a title with LeBron in Cleveland and he adds scoring punch.  I can see the Lakers making another run next year with the right pieces around James and Davis.  But they will need to monitor their workload closely throughout the year.  I think Denver takes either Miami or Boston, although that series appears almost over.  Maybe Boston can steal one tonight, and get another game at home.

Tim still had good games at the end of his career. I’m not really talking about his skill or ability.

I’m tired of seeing him play. Just like I was tired of Duncan. And the best thing is, we are all entitled to our opinion.
