I'm never going to live that one down.  🤣

All in good fun.  You're being a good sport about it.  I had fun throwing out the little jab and was happy you took it in stride.  Chandler was a great player.  Some translate to the NBA and some don't.

Oh no I deserve to never live it down.  Being so cocksure and trolling for half a year...I deserve every post.

There’s also a bit of luck involved. Caleb found himself in a situation where is best talents could be utilized. He’s a great player, but the difference between him and the next guy is so small it all depends on getting the reps. Maybe in a different situation Hutch gets that experience.

We’re all sitting in the dugout. Thinking we should pitch. How you gonna throw a shutout when all you do is bitch.

If not he can always pawn his less than 2 years old championship ring.

It seems heartless (not to mention short-sighted).  No Giannis in 2 games.  One of his brothers dies between Games 4 and 5.  Plus, it's not like the 8th seeded Heat were chumps.  Any team with Jimmy Butler in the playoffs is a threat.  He'll get another coaching gig someday.  Probably sooner than later.  I like Giannis and Co., but not a fan of this decision...

Yeah i agree if we’re looking strictly at the results. The guy coached Milwaukee to its first chip in 50 years. They’ve been winners every year he’s been there.

Having said that we’re not privy to the inner workings of the org. I have to believe there’s some kind of conflict internally either with ownership or the players.

Landing a gig with a guy like Spoelstra was big for Caleb. Some coaches just have a knack for identifying and utilizing the skills of their players.

That applies for Caleb's teammate Gabe Vincent as well. To play in NBA games, let alone start, they had to be considered some of the top players on the planet.  Both of them are fortunate to have landed with the Heat and they have cashed in nicely.  In a way, because they were both undrafted, perhaps they were able to develop at their own pace and not be rushed.

Hutch will always be able to say he was a 1st round pick.  Life in the NBA can be a grind and he lasted a few years.
