Caleb found himself in a situation where is best talents could be utilized. He’s a great player, but the difference between him and the next guy is so small it all depends on getting the reps. They’ve been winners every year he’s been there. Having said that we’re not privy to the inner workings of the org. To play in NBA games, let alone start, they had to be considered some of the top players on the planet. Both of them are fortunate to have landed with the Heat and they have cashed in nicely. In a way, because they were both undrafted, perhaps they were able to develop at their own pace and not be rushed. Hutch will always be able to say he was a 1st round pick.
