¿So what are you trying to say @halfmanhalfbronco?  ¿Los blu burros didn't lose to UCF...you're not making 1/2-assed-excuses?

Can you explain to the group the difference being "...literally retarded,^" & being "figuratively "...retarded."

I just read through this entire thread (btw, only 8 pages in 2 months?? Rookies!) and one thing I didn't see mentioned, was the fact that the Big 12 could very well consider adding SDSU just to help break up the PAC by inviting their best options, along with, or separate from, the 4C schools. <---I If you observation is accurate, I'm GUESSING that's because that angle has been discussed ad nauseum in the 600+ pg Expansion Thread.

However, in light of the recent ACC news, this might not happen either. We'll soon see, I guess.

(And no, I'm not saying SUDS hasn't earned an invite.)

So in other words, when you cannot discuss the facts at hands, you get frustrated...give-up & start calling ppl names.

I'm glad we could clear that up.

Congratulations on your self anointed honor of being "one of the most respected members on the board."   ¿Can you pls post an image of the handsome trophy, plaque, certificate, etc... you received along w/that honor?

¿From the 12-Pac's perspective, what difference does one-o-two-yrs make?

I understand from CSU-Diego's perspective it's a big deal relative to the MWC pay-out.

I have no clue how accurate my source is.  However, I've read on an other board, the MWC will let CSU-Diego out early (in time for 2024) for an extra $3mm ($20mm in ttl).

The B12 was desperate after the Red River connection went bye-bye. Everyone knows this. They had to plug holes.

I think BYU has earned a spot and have the firepower to adjust. I think they were a good add. And they’re my rival. So it pains me to say it.

Cincy isn’t terrible. But after that, it starts to get stinky. As in landfill stench.

I agree RE: YBU's credentials

Fo' sho' the BIG-12 have buyer's remorse w/UCF & to a lesser extent Houston.

Cincy is worthy athletically & academically, yet a geographic sore thumb.

No g5 school is going to the Big 12.  Or/Wa to the Big 12 is more likely at this point, and that isn’t happening either.  Mentioning it in multiple threads doesn’t lend any credence, it’s still not happening.

¿How do you think your PoS commuter school got into the BIG-12?

¿Does anyone have more background on what this guy means by?

"ASU plays a large role in present PAC problems."

Their president is one of the few remaining presidents that voted in favor of Larry Scott, also reportedly a pretty big supporter of the disaster.

Gotcha...¡Thx!

I figured that the way it was worded, there was something more linking the el Presidente-de-ASU more directly related to the failure of The 12-Pac Net, the No So Legendary Larry Scott, etc...

¡Thx!

Source pls...or at least a lil' more background.

The same one that told me SD jumped LV in line for an MLS team. Believe or don’t, all good. That said it sounds like the PAC is going to make the move by 6/30, so it should be moot.

¿Are you in the SLO-Pismo-Paso Metroplex?

I LOVE SLO.  I'd like to retire there, however I don't think I cold afford it.  I could pull-off one home there, however I hope to split my time between one US city & Medellin or Manizales in Colombia, SA.

The only rub I can come up w/on SLO is, it's distance from a major airport.  How are flts out of SB & FresNo these days?  I get the impression/hunch the availability of flts from SB fluctuates greatly as small & medium carriers come & go from that airport.

San Luis is awesome, but you have to bring your money with you.  Central Valley wages with SoCal cost of living makes it a little tough.

And you're right about the airport thing too.

Wyoming fans really hate BYU.

I legitimately think Wyoming fans hate BYU more than anyone else does. Even more than Utah fans.

I also think they might hate BYU more than they hate CSU, which is saying something.

Wyoming's hatred for BYU is unparalleled.

Yeah, the Big 12 already has major buyers remorse from adding the .500 G5 trash they did.  Biggest blunder in modern football history.

The MW Network and the Pac 12 Network come to mind.

If we’re a commuter school then every school in your state is; we have the highest percentage of on campus students of anyone in the state.  We also have more students living on campus than any other school in the country.  We probably have singular dorms with higher populations than your entire undergraduate enrollment.  Find a new insult that makes sense.

According to "Sources" on the AMesa, SDSU does have a New12 invite. They have told them that a Pac invite is their preference. If it doesn't come, they will take the New12.

Take note of my quote "Sources" and the AMesa reference.
