That would not be an accurate description of Jackson Moore, the current BarkBoard owner.  Online and meeting him in person, he is one of the more humble people online.  He is conservative, cautious, and courteous in his opinions and reporting. He seems to be a high integrity individual and grows his message board with top quality journalistic content, I can’t recall one instance of “clickbait” from Jackson.  
 

As to us online keyboard warrior reprobates, that is a different matter.

Totally agree about Jackson. He is a good, fair, and honest reporter. He does a good job with Fresno and SJSU. Don’t diss him.

Looking back, I am glad to be pretty grounded in shit like this.  Aztec94 (who I am confident is AztecGolfer on csnbbs) has been a ghost for weeks, and a few other "it is in the bag" Aztecs, utenation and yoda have gone radio silent.  

 

But, my consolation prize(s) may end up happening (possible WSU and OSU for drivable Aztec games, and Gophers visiting UW and UO), so I am pretty fine up in my slice of the world, as I may see my teams live even more.

I have a strong suspicion about who golfer is on the SDSU homer board also.

My theory is that the last few months turned into a sooner than expected interim step to a final NFL-lite breakaway group. A few more moves probably remain as they see which schools will fit together best in that new group. Then a new semipro division with some schools in the now P4 left out. Then another reshuffling as the final left behinds try to find new homes.

I'm a fan of some teams first then true college football second (that means following some western FBS and some California FCS teams).

I don't remember the last time I watched a SEC or Big 10 conference game, its been years for me. They already turned into money first conferences. Even the NFL isn't worth more than a couple of games annually to me.

Of course I would enjoy seeing my favorite teams play and be competitive with the big boys.

But I prefer the traditions and rivalries of true college football. I'd like to see more tradition and rivalry not more money. I'd rather follow true college teams in western not coast-to-coast money-focused conferences.
