SDSU appreciation thread!!!

Recommended Posts

they ended our 0-11 tourney streak. They made the sweet 16. They are responsible for at least half (3 out of 6) of our NCAAT credits this year.

If they can somehow win one more game then this NCAAT is actually going to a net positive for the MW reputation. Which would be a huge turnaround as only one out of four teams even won a game in the NCAAT. Also it is not like we were huge underdogs I think Nevada and BSU were 2 pt dogs and USU was a 1 pt favorite.

Yeah their run was much needed. Congrats Aztecs!

it would be amazing if you could be the first MW team to ever advance past the sweet 16!

The Aztecs are freaking great this year. Their fans, perhaps conditioned by previous disappointments the past decade, really focus on their shortcomings. Fans do that. But when I see this team it looks like going to battle against a tiger.

We’re all sitting in the dugout. Thinking we should pitch. How you gonna throw a shutout when all you do is bitch.

SUDS have lucked getting a cakewalk first two round matchups.
Reality will appear like a brick to the face when they play Alabama.

I actually think they will hang around with Alabama. Not expecting a win but a lose by single digits. Also don't rule out Maryland beating Alabama. In that case I would put SDSU vs Maryland as a 50/50 game.

They are the #1 team in the entire country.  Is there going to be some odd "Told ya so" if SDSU falls to the #1?

Furman beat the Four seed, ergo, they are better than said team.

No, just reality. SUDS couldn’t have had an easier path. That’s all.

If a school named after a guy from Butte Montana can beat Purdue, anything can happen…

Purdue has a track record of chitting the bed in the tournament.

San Diego St was set up nicely playing a 13 seed. Anyone in the conference would want that match-up.

Not surprised it’s the salty Fresno fans with their B12 delusions that are poopooing SDSU’s appreciation thread😂

No kidding, it must hurt them that you’ve won as many tournament games in the past two days, as they have in their entire school history.

Congrats again Aztecs, of course we selfishly hope you guys stay in the league, but if not hopefully you dominate the pac 12 the way you have here.
