When he is on the court, it is 4 vs. 5 and not in our favor.

Washington State was the best .500 team in America last year.  They were very underrated and made the NIT, unlike us.

In addition, big men take longer to develop and don’t have as steady of a development curve as guards do.

The staff is working hard to get him.  He is somebody you use a scholarship on.  100%.

I don’t see the issue with the freshmen Big from WSU. He is 7’ with a 7’6” wingspan. He can run the floor very well. He has a motor, can protect the rim and run to the rim on the break and the pick and roll. He is only needed for spot minutes for now. But his upside is huge down the road. Coach him up!

They act like the kid is Karl Jones. He was a consensus top 60 4 star recruit out of hs and is only a freshman. No question he is a little raw. But the kid runs the floor like he is 6’6”, has decent hands and has a motor.

I love what has been brought in this off season but we do need a “big” to top things off.  Diongue or Diallo would do the trick!

Diongue could be a good option here. I like that he is a sophomore. With the minimum minutes last year he didn’t show much but he definitely fits the bill for length. Another year of conditioning will add some size and strength. Using that one transfer kind of locks him up and he’ll probably go 4 years. Bringing in a freshman center again next years makes for good balance at the position for a few years to come. He’d probably get 10-12 minutes this year and offer some good options on both ends of the floor. Definitely a step up from the past 2 years in the front court. Pull the trigger on this one.

He would start as a junior and be the best center in the MW.

CKK has elevated his status as one of the top recruiters in unlv history. I’d say he surpassed Bayno and still behind Tark (obviously) and Rice. 
 

I don’t think it matters with Diongue, an extra big just for depth and maybe he’ll develop into something but I don’t see it. Just another Muoka type.

Dude was a top 50 recruit according to ESPN.  In his limited usage last year, he had a block rate of 8.8%.  If we do that as a team, we’d be top 10 in the country.

Doesn’t matter, he was limited because he’s a foul machine and gets injured. I’d bring him on for development and depth. I’d temper the expectations because he has a long ways to go.

I personally think he should use a Gonzaga redshirt.  Most players have a ways to go.  That’s why coaches get paid.  To get them there.

We need the length at the 5!  A rim protector and a shot blocker would help this team, to think otherwise is short sided!

So was Beas Hamga, but I digress.  I'd trust KK at this point with the decision he makes after what he's put together so far this offseason.
