If people stopped giving him non stop attention 24/7 365 he would go away .

Your team is more fixated on Trump than the other guys.

How would that compare to those that reply and defend Trump after every post made about him?

Be really crazy if this non stop posting was done by a Construction supervisor coming up on a project deadline or an accountant as we head toward April.

Is Trump in jail yet?

It's not like he's ever going to actually end up in jail. The worst that would happen to him if he were to be convicted would be house arrest at Mar-a-Lago or Trump Tower.

This first coming indictment won't lead to jail time..............probably fines as a misdemeanor offense ...same with the civil lawsuit the OCS faces in New York State ( will be similar to the TRUMP UNIVERSITY fraud he settled for some millions ) ............odds are like most of the OCS's lawsuits, he will see he's going to be found guilty, so he settles before it goes to trial

The Georgia indictment might be some jail time along with the national case of his handling & lying about the classified documents -- Not sure he has any 'settlement' options in these cases since they seem more criminal than monetary fraud scams

Alright, pack it up everyone. Time to toss some cold water on this thread, and then come back and do it all over again in a month.

I'm no legal expert.........but in the grand scheme of the various "cases" against trump.........the NY Porn Payoff is probably the least of importance with the lowest possible penalty

The Georgia case is far more pertinent to saving democracy since it has trump directly interfering with election results and election officials

But this will just fire up the "Witch Hunt" crowd as it seems one jurisdiction is stepping aside for another jurisdiction to take the lead

Trump will also (if he hasn't already) use it as "proof" that they don't have a case against him. If the charges come after the Georgia ones, or even if they come at all, he'll go back to it being a witch hunt and that they only took a break in order to falsify evidence. Then people like @Bob will parrot his idiocy here and elsewhere.

Nothing will happen to him. He could be indicted tomorrow by GA and DOJ, but it won't see trial til after the election. Trump's legal team will bog it down in pre-trial motions for a very long time. There is a good chance he would be elected President while under multiple indictments. In that case, it wouldn't see trial.

I'm pretty sure that's the entire trump legal strategy, to sting this out as long as possible ..........then if he does manage a longshot win of the WH, he's off the hook for those 4 years

It's (IMO) a longshot that trump can win the WH.........he's got a better shot at the GOP nomination but I don't see sane voters going down the rat hole with trump again especially after the clown show & idiocy since he lost in November 2022

But legal proceedings do take time........ look at the non-political trial underway between some guy & Gwyneth Paltrow on the Utah ski slope.........that was from an incident in 2016 & here it is just going to trial in 2023

I dunno man. He gets indicted and he instantly becomes the GOP martyr against "big Gov," "the swamp," "the elites"... whatever the euphemism of the day is. Then everything becomes "he was right... the people on Jan 6th were right..." People are +++++ing stupid.

I think it might help him with the GOP base........but honestly, the GOP base has become a haven for nut job candidates nationwide -- Still don't see trump winning nationally ............but his defeat in the 2024 election could be the death blow the the country we know or did know............it would be 2022/23 on steroids & there's a good % of nut job right wingers just waiting to go off

That's been Trump's legal strategy for his entire career, molded by Roy Cohn.

Yep.........stall & appeal, toss anything to delay any trial .........and when all that is exhausted & a trial is imminent...........negotiate some settlement that avoids any pre-trial & court proceedings
