I haven't seen any acknowledgement by CSU fans, CSU, CSU's coach, etc.  I've only seen presumptive guilt based on social media.  Yeah, we've been trashed by a proven liar.  I'd like to see CSU take legal action to retain their credibility.  You cannot hear anything the crowd has to say when you are wearing broadcast headphones..  That's a fact.  You cannot substantiate that the crowd was yelling "russia".  That's a fact.  If there were an individual who did choose to take that route, they were ineffective in the crowds approach to their chants.  That's a fact.

USU through their employees or partners have gone out of their way to negatively impact CSU's reputation.  Yes, I'd like to see that prosecuted..

It didn't happen.  If it did, it was so stupid and minor as to be completely ignored, yet USU  or their partners chose to go the distance on this.  They need to be held accountable.

CSU didn't get cancelled. Calm down dude. You think CSU would have a case in a civil court and a judge wouldn't just be annoyed at the attempted litigation and waste of their time? Again, everyone seems to have apologized or accepted an apology and moved on. Except for you!

What's the damage to CSU if they sue here?  Have any teams with Ukranians on them refused to play CSU?  Are they getting less applicants from Ukranians?

(In either case, it sounded like Russia to me on the video, but I suppose it's not clear enough)

Probably 4-5 dumbasses chanting. No point in making like they are representative of the whole school or the university’s ok with it. Every student body has their share of dumbasses. Sounds like the coach and school were swift to apologize.

Fine from your point of view.  You're on the outside looking in.  CSU was unfairly cast in a false limelight in national media today because some liar in headphones claimed he heard something that he couldn't have possibly have heard. 

CSU doesn't have a reputation as the most successful athletic program in the country, but we absolutely do have a deserved reputation as one of the cleanest.  I'm OK with defending that.  As a CSU alum I am offended by some punk's off handed allegation towards the credibility of our fan base (an allegation that is clearly indefensible). I'm pissed that my university is under scrutiny because of some loser's shot at an event that never happened.

I'll stick with my position that the accuser either needs to prove his position or get the hell out of the business, tomorrow.

No, it wouldn't last 10 minutes.  We should go through the motions though.  Are you going to argue that CSU hasn't been damaged by a provable lie.  I don't think we should should just lay down and take it, we're getting screwed in the court of public opinion by a liar.  It won't fly in court, but it's a shame if we don't take a stand.

You aren't being personally persecuted, yet you're taking it like you are. Again, the issue has been resolved but you're insisting that your ego be bruised. Everyone knows it was just a few bad apples and not an act from the university itself. Let it go for god's sake.

Even if CSU caught who did it it's likely not even a big offense--I doubt anyone would get expelled or even suspended for it.  They would turn it into an educational opportunity and ask them to do some community service involving Ukraine.

It's tasteless, everyone remembers the are still stupid kids in the student body and moves on.
