I don’t think Boise is a lasting #1.

Zero depth (9 bench points combined in last 3 games).

Injury to most skilled player in Shaver. He should sit the next two weeks but since depth hasn’t  developed he may be brought back too soon. Naje’s injury didn’t seem too bad. More precautionary hopefully? He looks like he’s playing hurt all the time anyway so hard to tell.

8 day break after (probable big loss) at SDSU couldn’t come at a better time.

Nothing. They just had a promo video and I didn't see either in then.

RJ Keene practicing. That mf’er shoulda played last year, and if he can dunk he should be playing the rest of this year. Need him now, not in 2027.

Not sure how to rank them but here is my prediction.

BSU & UNM tie for conference championship with 4 losses.

UNM wins the conference tourney.

No idea who will be left holding the bag (NIT bag) between SDSU, Nev, & Utah st .

And the MW will take another post season O-fer.

Overreaction. Everyone knows SDSU has the most talented and deepest roster. They'll be at or near the top when the dust settles.

And the most head scratching roster as well.

They are poor at free throw shooting and always have a wtf ? stretch late in games.

In your scenario here UNM would need to go undefeated in their final 8 conference games. That isn't going to happen. I seriously doubt that any MWC team is going to go 8-0 to finish the regular season. I'd be fairly surprised if any team goes better than 6-2 during that final stretch.

According to the UNLV faction on this Board,

They will.

I saw that Caeser's sportsbook has SDSU by 7.5.

they know something because it should be less than that.   My guess is one of them is a no show and the other is less that 100%.  If they knew both were out the line would be double digits.

Take the points.

The Ass techs consistently under perform.

Well, I certainly admit I don't know the future but my prediction includes NM beating BSU at Boise.... all their other tough games are home games.  I could be wrong but that's how I got there.

I just think that when Mashburn is on, which is nearly always, NM is probably the best team.

House and Mashburn killed it in the Pit against the Broncos and it still took OT for UNM to come away with a 2 point win.

If the Broncos are healthy, they won't lose at home the rest of the season.  They have potential losses for sure tonight and the 2 remaining road games at SJSU and USU.

The champ will have 4 conference losses.  I can see the Broncos with 4-5.

Weak sauce. You need to take a PH break and reconsider your dedication to trolling. In or out but don’t continue to embarrass yourself. Take some viagra or something but get it up.

My guess is that Boise wins tonight but may lose to NM and then to Utah st.  That's how I got to the tie in conf standings but as I said, it's just a guess.

Also probably true except if NM gets a good draw.  Their guards are solid.

I've seen teams who were 17-15 with good guard play, make deep Tourney runs. Of course matchups do matter.

Okay, what Aztec fan pulls out the “Ass techs” shade? You just exposed yourself bro.

Not an Aztec fan.  Pretty obvious.

And....that's why i don't bet.

I will say I think most Aztec fans were not expecting a big blow out of Boise... and those that were probably weren't thinking Mensah would be the guy to drop 17 on Boise.

Nice game by the Aztecs for sure!

Because we rotate 9 guys, all capable of scoring, it's hard to predict who is going to have a big night. Seiko dropped 25 on USU at home. He averages 8pts/gm.  What has been happening is that the squad bigs are beginning to assert themselves. The Nevada game was a wake-up call.   Arop called a players only meeting on Wednesday and called everyone out on their effort.  Nate  called himself out for not being aggressive enough. What I've learned over the years is that college hoops defies static analysis.  Players and teams get better or worse over the season. I like the direction our team is heading.  LeDee is starting to get things sorted out and Johnson is starting to figure out how to use his athleticism. Dutch sees it.  He's had Johnson, LeDee and Mensah  on the floor together more and more as the season progresses, using Arop as the backup forward and sliding Bradley to the 2.

I never want to see another Little Person as SDSU's PG.  DJ Gay, who was measured at a legit 6-0 even, was as small as we should ever recruit again. Darrion Trammell may be listed at 5-10 on the roster but as has been said by a number of announcers sitting courtside, he's probably actually 5-9. Plus kids keep getting bigger and DJ's SDSU career ended 12 years ago.
