I get there is a small % of the population that are in high risk groups with vaccines. The anti-vaxxers lazily jumped on that to cover their fear and loathing. And a lot of people relied on herd immunity (the responsible actions of others) to protect themselves. So, in essence, a selfish response to the Pandemic.
