That's one that UNLV let get away - Give CSU credit for doing & taking everything UNLV gave & handed the Rams

Don't see UNLV winning at Utah State Tuesday.........can UNLV win ? Yes...if UNLV could win at NM, they can win at US.......however, one has to wonder what the 'mental state' of the team is after this loss. It's could be a tipping point propelling UNLV to fix their issues or it could be the moment UNLV seizes up & ends up sinking

In any game like this, you could point to any play from the opening minute to the very end that might have led to a different outcome.........mental & physical mistakes, missed FT's to missed gimmee layups to fouls & turnovers

I'm guessing UNLV falls to 1-5 by losing at Utah St........then it's down to the game at Fresno to stop the slide

CKK & staff have a lot of work to do along with playing psychologists to fix the situation

Kevin Kruger runs a shit offense and defense.  Niko Medved coached a much better game.  Colorado State had ZERO business winning that game.

END OF REGULATION AND OVERTIME: UNLV held a four-point lead with eight seconds left in regulation and another four-point advantage with 35 seconds to go in overtime. Stevens made two 3-pointers during each of those times to defeat the Runnin' Rebels.

So this wasn’t a normal Rebels meltdown inducing loss.

We’re all sitting in the dugout. Thinking we should pitch. How you gonna throw a shutout when all you do is bitch.

You will be eating your words Tuesday!  Utah State plays fast and doesn’t turn the ball over.  UNLV is screwed!  And will lose by 20 points.

You can stop with the drama, I said ‘I don’t know, they MIGHT… ‘

which means it could go either way, and yes, they might even lose by 20.

I had an excellent adventure to the T&M. No need to talk about the game. It sure was memorable.

I have  to comment on the professionalism and kindness of the UNLV game support staff. They are better than anything I have experienced at the professional or collegiate level. I was traveling with a backpack that was too big to take inside the arena. My first contact was a gentleman in Will Call who directed me to the Executive Office. There I ran into the sweetest lady at the front desk who said she would hold my bag during the game. I asked if I could stay and charge my phone and of course she was good with that. An hour later, another member of the staff came to me and told me she would escort me to the area where my ticket was waiting via elevator. Totally unnecessary but very kind and courteous. The same kindness was there post-game to direct me back to the desk. Season ticket holders at Moby are not treated as well as I was treated.

UNLV honored longtime radio play by play man Dick Calvert at halftime, hanging a banner alongside the UNLV greats in the rafters. I ran into Calvert post-game, shook his hand, and congratulated him on such an amazing honor. Think about it. Having your name next to guys like Larry Johnson, Reggie Theus, Ricky Sobers, etc. A pantheon not just of UNLV royalty but College Basketball royalty ( for the record, I never saw Larry Johnson play in person. I did see Reggie Theus who is one of the 5 best players I have ever seen in a college uniform.).

Here are some more pictures.

I’m glad you were treated so well, any time I have ever gone into the exec office I have experienced the same kindness. Several years ago I was getting new season tickets  and they escorted me in while UNLV was running a closed practice in the T&M, and let me check out a few seats. The guy was so patient and kind. However, I thought every school was like that.

And, I agree about Reggie Theus, I could never understand why that putz Kevin Loughery benched him with the Bulls, (who stole our light show, btw, back when the fireworks were much better). Chicago loved him, and his game.
