My original post was responding to someone who didn't have background in reading medical studies. I think people are underestimating the numbers of severe disease and death in the younger male population.

The rate of myocarditis is roughly 8-11 times higher in non vaxxed Covid infected individuals than vaxxed with more severe disease.

Yes everyone who is suspicious of Covid vaccines have heard of Robert Malone's podcast. Yes he was published for early mRNA resaearch from 89-90 regarding using lipid encapsulation to deliver mRNA. Unfortunately for him, the breakthroughs in another lab (Weissman and Kariko) 15 years later managed to fix his issues. Other prominent researchers in the field have denounced his claims so, pick who you want to believe.

Finally, there are no experimental vaccines that are allowed to be given to the public. The Pfizer and Moderna were initially authorized for emergency use after completing both animal and human trials and are fully approved.

I have only scanned this new study on Long Covid.   Did you read and/or have thoughts on the subject?

I would just say that clinicians (and insurers) are going to have a hard time fleshing this out over the next few years as I'm sure were going to have many things attributed to long Covid with similar vague complaints as fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome et al. Chronic viral infections cause a tremendous burden on health and the health care system.

Most interesting graphic in the article.  I think there is a bit of a Y-axis distortion, but it does show a direct relationship between the onset of the Covid pandemic and a rise in cardiac deaths among the 18-39 cohort -- before vaccinations and a leveling off/dip thereafter.

damn bob that's crazy that mycarditis and pericarditis decreased by so much in 2020. maybe we should go back to closing restaurants and working from home and wearing masks because of concern for the -carditises, right?

Remember that every argument you have with someone on MWCboard is actually the continuation of a different argument they had with someone else also on MWCboard.
