More classified documents

Timeline

On November 2nd Biden’s personal attorneys find classified documents at his office. They notify NARA instead of any branch of law enforcement. NARA refers it to the inspector general who is the one that notifies the DOJ.

November 9th the FBI and DOJ notify Biden’s attorneys they’re looking into the matter.

On December 20th Biden’s attorney’s find more classified documents in his garage at a second location.

The story of the Penn Center documents breaks on January 9th. Biden makes a statement referring to those documents with no mention of the second trove they already know was found in his home.

On January 11th and 12th more documents are found by Biden’s attorney’s in a third location, his library.

The FBI finally gets to work on January 20th and discovers more classified “items” whatever that means, including some dating back to when Biden was a senator (making them mishandled for between 14 and 50 years).

In betwixt many bailey’s fell and the motte’s grow ever more ridiculous.

We’re all sitting in the dugout. Thinking we should pitch. How you gonna throw a shutout when all you do is bitch.

Well, that would mean charging him last year.  But, the DoJ has its own timeline. Nothing we can do about that other than bitch about it.

When Is Biden getting charged. ?? Never.

One standard for republicans and a different standard for politicians you like.

You can't call yourself objective anymore. You and @GoDogs22 should be best friends

Well, Biden is very unlikely to be charged while he's got his current job.   You may have heard that somewhere.  Anyway, the two timelines suggests he'll be charged roughly 18 months after Trump is so charged (ceteris paribus)

He will be charged the day after they find the weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.

You might be right if Marcy is, but see the bold.

"The obstruction is still what distinguishes Trump from Biden, because DOJ would most likely charge a Constitutional officer only with 18 USC 793(e), refusing to given classified documents back. Biden has made multiple efforts to give documents back: Trump has made multiple efforts to refuse to give documents back.

But as for the other damning details we know exist with Trump? We can’t rule them out with Biden."

Anyone have a few hours to post the Trump docs timeline?

The timeline won't be longer with Trump since Biden has mishandled for 14-50 years as opposed to 4-6 with Trump. The list of opposition and failure to comply with DOJ orders on Trump's part is certainly more lengthy, but the opportunities for Biden to have rectified the situation before his attorneys stumbled onto the documents is exponentially higher.  So certainly "timeline" isn't what you're arguing, so we'll chalk it up to semantics.....again.

Joe had memory issues longer than we thought.

My default and still position is let the DoJ/SCs do their thing and let the legal chips fall where they may.  I do agree w/Marcy that 793 (e) is the likely charge were there ever to be one on either guy, and Trump has clear jeopardy there.  Biden not at this point in time w/current info.

Politically, this could be a brick in the one term wall.  We'll see.  I think the macro economy will have the most import leading  to '24.

Unconfirmed reports have the authorities headed to Monticello and Mount Vernon....

In the beginning the Universe was created.
This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.
