I just checked the reported attendance, and they have it at 8,000!!!!!! Holy crap, I’ve never seen anything like this. There’s cheating, and then there’s CHEATING!!!! SDSU continually reported high numbers in an empty stadium, to get the green light to build a new stadium. Fresno - maybe in hopes of a better (LOL) conference? But 5,000 is still insane. I was being generous when I said as many as 1,200. It was closer to 800. When was the last time that place sold out with BIS? Probably 35 years ago.
