In 2022, the Indianapolis Colts fired him as head coach and replaced him with a guy with no NFL coaching experience. A few weeks later, the Colts would give up a 33-point comeback, allowing their opponents to break the record previously held by their former head coach. The writing team outdid themselves this time. It won't happen this season, but McDaniels is turning this group into contenders. We can still make a wild card spot, but I don't see us getting out of the first round.
